Production for Skintellect in Lagos Campaign video. “Lagos as the heartbeat of Nigeria in the same way Kingston is to Jamaica, both places rich in culture, history and the warm essence of African beauty, which goes beyond skincare and continues to fuel Skintellects’ dedication to A-Beauty. Much like sounds, beauty traditions tell a story of a life well lived.” Talent: @rebeccafabunmi_ Creative & Art Director: @delanique & @filmpicsbychris Executive Producer: @by.fade DP: @granvilleliketownsville AD: @ho_skyllz First AC: @czacsky Gaffer: @tobilight_ Makeup: @beautybyisime Hair: @hairbykhadijat #SkintellectinLagos

Participants will discuss strategies for scaling culturally rooted brands while navigating the complexities of diverse international markets, all while staying true to their origins. Attendees—including founders, investors, and passionate advocates for Africa—will leave with a deeper understanding of how to weave storytelling, community engagement, and innovative business models into a global brand narrative that celebrates African identity. Filosophers! We had the chance to attend Sip N’ Slay by @everystylishgirl this weekend here in Brooklyn! From the speakers to the vendors to the mass of powerful black women, it was a perfect day of networking and encouragement. One quote that stood out was from @noordinarynoire - “I am the value.” To any emerging/current business owners and creatives, YOU are the value behind your brand. And to you Filosophers, YOU ALL have added so much value to this brand and community that is Filosophy. If ever you’re afforded the chance to attend Sip N’ Slay, take it. You’ll leave beyond fulfilled. 💚
