GREEN DOOR STORE , BRIGHTON , 21ST NOVEMBER

Boy oh boy this is a real treat. Celebrating the release of @blackgrooveband latest album ‘Work Yourself To The Bone’ on the 13th November we’ve got a big ole party the following week on Saturday the 21st down Brightons elite grassroots venue @greendoorstore , featuring some of nosiest and strangest bands down south at the moment 🤡

This is a real mates fest , a line up curated for maximum noise and discomfort, full of the weird and wonderful.

Main support for this noise fest is @remoteviewingband , a band that needs no introduction in the realms of noise. Having released brutal album after brutal album for the last 8 years and now with their latest onslaught ‘ State violence ‘ they’ve got even angrier and full of spite. Expect a visceral performance by these legends .

Making an uncomfortable racket across the country the last year @skintern.scum will be bringing their blood and hate fuelled scum noise rock to the party also. These guys know what’s up . Feedback psychosis inducing blood and fuzz. Blissful.

As well as that we’ll be having noise punk weirdos @whywhywhypatterns play a bar set , playing their abrasive bass heavy take on the powerviolence genre. Although the noise these guys kick out really is its own unique ear fuckery.

Also sets from local sludgeheads @wrenchbtn , London doomers @kushthulhuband and Eastbourne weirdos @thedefamationproject !

On top of all this nonsense the beauty @soapmonkey that designed the artwork for ‘Work Yourself To The Bone’ will be running a stall selling limited prints of the albums cover as well as other grotesque prints from his catalogue of nastiest ☠️

£9 advance tickets for 7 fucked bands … works out at £1.30 per band . Don’t be a silly Willy and sleep on this , this will sell out , don’t miss out on the party and the guaranteed hearing damage🔊🦻🏻

NEXUS is the project of B4MBA and MOOKI6, members of Barcelona-based Pan-African multidisciplinary Jokkoo Collective.

Born as an answer to a collapsing world, their sound is rooted in ancestral rhythms and deep, dark frequencies, drawing from punk, industrial, dancehall, noise and trap. Exploring the tension between darkness and illumination, each set becomes a sonic offering — chaotic, cathartic and fiercely alive.

KEEPSAKES — DJ

Keepsakes, the alias of British-New Zealand producer and DJ James Barrett, has been a distinctive voice in techno the past 10+ years. His powerful, menacing yet often playful productions have appeared on Boys Noize Records, Turbo Recordings, Perc Trax, MORD, KAOS/OAKS and more.

TRSSX — LIVE

Co-founder of Glasgow club EXIT and head of Wodawater, TRSSX brings industrialised techno forms and modular signals to their live sets.

CHEZA LUCINA — DJ

London-based producer, DJ and curator blending Afro, Caribbean, Latinx and UK underground sounds, from soca and dembow to jungle, garage and dubstep.

SKINTERN — LIVE

Collaborative noise rock project built on blood, spectacle and excess. Equal parts band and performed violence.

VANITY CRYSTAL — DJ

London-based sound artist producing machinic transgendered wormhole sound with an anti-genre approach to her sets.

TOOTHTAXI — DJ

Tileboi and Yellowcar’s relentless B2B project, with appearances at HTBX, Unfold, Sextou and more. Expect to sweat.
