Unexpected encounters of beauty…

I’ll keep it real, I was pissed off before this show. I wasn’t being my best self by any stretch of imagination, and I felt it was going to translate into the show.

But looking back at the entire tour, this show in particular holds a special place in my heart. It was the one show that wasn’t self organised - it emerged once the tour already started. It was in front of a completely new crowd of faces. And the response Keith and I got was, phenomenal.   My brother seriously touched some hearts that day, and in all honesty that’s what made it so special - to have been able to give my teacher, my brother, my friend the space to shine and guide as brightly and as eloquently as he does. (Check out the video pinned to the top of my page to see just how he did that). 💎  Huge thanks to @skip.sitton and @evelien.platteeuw of @selectedwithlove.nl for making this happen.   looking forward to coming back in the future.

Looking back on an amazing final Sunday Summer Session.

What started as an idea grew into something that felt truly special. It has been such a beautiful journey to create these Sundays together with @skip.sitton and to see the SWL space come alive through music, art, fashion, conversations and connection.

So grateful for every artist and creative who shared something with us, and for every person who came by, stayed for a while, listened, talked, shopped or simply shared the moment with us.

This is exactly what I hoped SWL could also be: not just a store, but a space where people meet, create and feel connected.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of these Sunday Summer Sessions, and especially to everyone who made this final edition such a beautiful one.

Equivocal | GnoseIf creates conscious Hip-Hop. One man embodied in two aliases providing a bed of instrumentals, a warm blanket of intentional vocals, and a soothing meditative cushion of saxophone embellishments. With deep thought and care his GnoseIf half just released two albums on cassette. Join him in sound and the now.
