7/24 Adopted 🎉🩷Beautiful #A1250973 4yrs Female 69lbs Intake 6/5 Beautiful is a staff and volunteer favorite. She is kenneled with puppies that are not hers and gets along with them. I even caught her playing with them a couple times. She’s been at the shelter over 30 days. I’m not sure why she’s been overlooked. It could be her size or the fact that her body still shows signs of recently having puppies herself. Beautiful gets excited and barks when you greet her at her kennel. Don’t let that fool you, once leashed she’s excited to go outside and walks well. Please share this happy girl so she can get adopted, fostered or rescued. 🦮Can go on the Streets of Bakersfield Saturday July 11th. 🌼walks well on leash 🐾enjoys treats 🌼loves being outside 🐾gets along with other dogs Playgroup 📝 “Excited to come out of kennel. Walks well, calm in the yard. Didn’t like hyper dogs. Likes to hang out.” ▪️Adopters can live anywhere to adopt ▪️Fosters must reside in Kern County, food and medication (if needed) will be provided ▪️Rescues must be a reputable 501c3 registered partner with KCAS Located at Kern County Animal Service’s 3951 Fruitvale Ave. Bakersfield, CA 93308 Adopt animalservices@kerncounty.com 661-868-7100 Foster dogfoster@kerncounty.com 661-868-7130 Rescue rescue@kerncounty.com 661-549-4355 Hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday-Saturday 10am-4pm Wednesday 2-7pm *Volunteer at the shelter

Safe in a foster home! 💛 LONG STAY-ON EUTHANASIA LIST Puppy (brown dog), #A1248339, Male, 1 yr old, 53 lbs I recently spent time with Puppy in the yard and instantly loved him. He’s so happy and incredibly sweet. He loves attention and receiving affection. Although he’s pretty young, he has a great calmer energy level. He will jump up, but he’s gentle about it. He’s currently kenneled with Liam (also in video) and they do very well together and they are both calm and well behaved in kennel. Puppy has been at the shelter since May 16th. When he arrived he was scared and shut down, but look like at him now. 🤩 He blossoms outside in the yard. He deserves to know love and happiness! Please consider fostering or adopting this sweet and happy boy. Fosters through the shelter, must live in Kern County. Adopters can be from out of area. Kimmy #A1247569 1 year 56lbs Intake 4/29 Update: Adopted 🎉6/21 Kimmy has 24 hours to find safe placement before going on to the euthanasia list.‼️. ‼️Urgent Kimmy will be placed on the euthanasia list tomorrow 6/9 for no interest‼️ 🚨Please share her! She can be adopted, fostered or rescued. Message me if you can help Kimmy so I can send an email to the shelter. Also email & call (leave a message with your info. And her #A1247569)🚨 Kimmy is a volunteer favorite! I just love her personality once outside. She loves toys and playing fetch. Also walks great on leash. The only thing she needs work on is taking treats gently. She does an alligator chomp. 😄 She’s great at catching them and never misses. Kimmy gets along with her kennel mate who is a hyper puppy. She did well in playgroup friendly with handlers and other dogs. She just didn’t engage in play. She entertains herself when she has toys to play with. ▪️Adopters can live anywhere to adopt ▪️Fosters must reside in Kern County, food and medication (if needed) will be provided ▪️Rescues must be a reputable 501c3 registered partner with KCAS Located at Kern County Animal Service’s 3951 Fruitvale Ave. Bakersfield, CA 93308 Adopt animalservices@kerncounty.com 661-868-7100 Foster dogfoster@kerncounty.com 661-868-7130 Rescue rescue@kerncounty.com 661-549-4355 Hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday-Saturday 10am-4pm Wednesday 2-7pm *Volunteer at the shelter

Help me save their lives by sharing them. 🙏 🔹Walk well on leash 🔸Treat motivated 🔹Appear potty trained 🔸Got along fabulous being stuck in a kennel with two other large females.
