Skip’s Picks is a new staff driven feature highlighting some of their favorite products. First up is one of our drum shop specialists Josh!

“The Brooklyn Standard from Gretsch is the culmination of the long standing relationship between @mikeslessons and @gretschdrums With the idea of creating a pro level snare that remained within most budgets this is a drum that could easily be your main drum no matter what genre you’re playing. It’s a sensitive drum that gives you a big crack when needed. The simple classic finish and throwback internal dampening system make this the perfect addition to your snare collection. The fact that it was designed by a local Sacramento just makes it that much cooler.”

Check out the Brooklyn Standard at @skipsmusic and stay tuned for future Skip’s Picks dropping each Monday.
