This Saturday, October 24th, head over to the Golden Gate Park Bandshell for the Fourth Annual Bay Beats Launch Party, celebrating the release of 150 brand new albums hitting the San Francisco Public Library’s local music streaming platform. Free and open to all ages from 2 to 6 PM, the afternoon showcases the incredible genre range of four new Bay Beats artists. Kicking off the lineup is Spencer Noble with catchy, guitar-driven pop, followed by Tanzanian-born artist Frankie Maston soaring through Afropop in English, French, and Kiswahili. Soul and funk powerhouse William Johnston’s Extravagant Superband takes the stage next, before Skip the Needle closes out the day with their fierce fusion of punk, funk, and soul-fired rock. Alongside the live music, the park will be packed with food trucks, games, giveaways, and local music organization booths. It’s an unbelievable, free celebration of our local music ecosystem—and that’s why the Bay Beats Launch Party at the Bandshell is White Crate’s Show of the Week.
