Now something interesting...

Skitsystem / Cyness - Split 7 inch

So, the plastic sleeve is from the red vinyl version, that was limited to 100 hand-numbered copies (mine copy says 054/100), red print on the plastic sleeve. This was the special 12.05.2006 record release party edition.

Buuuuut... the vinyl inside is the yellow translucent haze one that was limited to: 1) 30 hand-numbered copies for the special 12.05.2006 record release party edition; and 2) plus another 70 copies for the regular release.

Crazy! Like... So, um... do I have both special release party editions simultaneously hahaha? 😃

Siamo orgogliosi di far parte di questa compilation: BACK TO PLAN A - PUNK IS ACTION.

PLAN B HAS FAILED. NOW, BACK TO PLAN A.

ARSENIK FESTIVAL VOL. 2
🔥🔥🔥🔥
30 JANUARY

Looking for a new venue.
More info soon.

Last year was fucking amazing and SOLD OUT, so we’re doing it again! Here’s 2027 year’s lineup! 🔥

G-ANX
Swedish ”Kir for pleasure” punk cult legends!
G-Anx return to the stage for the very first time since 1997. Raw and frantic, their brief existence left a mark far beyond the handful of records they released. This is an exclusive and extremely rare chance to see G-Anx live again.

SKITSYSTEM
No speed no punk legends!
Few bands are as synonymous with Gothenburg crust as Skitsystem. Formed all the way back in 1994, they carved out their own particularly bleak strain of d-beat.
Always a pleasure!

AGRIMONIA
Gothenburg’s Agrimonia take the foundations of crust and stretch them into something even darker. Formed in 2005 and featuring members from Skitsystem and Martyrdöd they move effortlessly between crushing riffs, bleak atmosphere and slow-burning passages.

VICIOUS IRENE
Vicious Irene have been doing things their own way since forming in Gothenburg in 2001. Fierce, political hardcore punk backed by more than two decades of records, DIY touring and shows across Europe and well beyond!

PISTOL PISTOL PISTOL
”Dansk skalle” hardcore punk from K-Town! No polished edges, no unnecessary bullshit. Pistol Pistol Pistol deliver punk the way it should be, loud and straight to the point!

HEAVY BLEEDING
PMS punk from Gothenburg!
Heavy Bleeding bring another dose of raw Swedish punk to the bill. Abrasive and stripped of anything that doesn’t need to be there. Music made for small rooms, loud amps and damaged ears!

AND THERE’S MORE!!

It’s also @polar_pig s 50s birthday bash!! 🥳

JAN 29: Kir for Pleasure pre-party at Arsenik!
Happy hour, Kir drinks and cassette tape disco with Usman from @bunkerpunks
JAN 29–30: Punk market at Arsenik! Wanna sell your stuff? DM us!

Grab your ticket and come hang in Malmö for a fucking sick weekend!! 🔥

Thank you @subhuman_being_ for your amazing work with this posterdesign. 🖤

Triplet in rarity: the 4 channel demo tape I got through the mail when I interviewed Fredrik Wallenberg of @skitsystem_official in -95 for my first zine, the test press of the newly released “12 of said tape (my copy is the only known one) and finally the official “12, limited to 300 copies. Get yours from @swekenrock or @denihilrecords - or tonight, August 28, at the release fest at @blackbird_vegan_bar, Gbg. (In case you didn’t guess: System Collapse is what Skitsystem were called when they started out.)

Konsertdagbok #1 - Hellbotn 2026

Her ere mange fete låter. Også svenske Murder Squad spilte mer old school death metal og her vare mye fete riff. Speed metal for alle penga.

Guess what! With the guide tracks ready to go, I’m headed to the studio to record two new singles.

The first is 'Distant Place'—featuring lyrics heavily inspired by Voivod and guest vocals from my friend Hillary Jackson (from Portland).

The second is 'Renunciation,' which hits with a more straightforward, traditional crust punk vibe.

I’ll be mixing and mastering both tracks myself after putting in a ton of study time. A friend is tracking drums first, and I’ll handle the rest of the instruments.

I’ve finally managed to move away from "Doom"-style guttural vocals; dropping the "doom-style" (inspired from the band) gutturals for a cleaner vocal approach has made a huge difference

My equipament:

- Epiphone Explorer (EMG 81 bridge / EMG 85 neck)
- Boss HM-2 Heavy Metal
- Boss GE-7 Equalizer
- Boss CE-5 Chorus Ensemble
- Boss CS-3 Compression Sustainer
- Orange Amp (bringing it along to the session)

I just need to grab a better delay/reverb pedal—my current one isn't cutting it.

TODO: I'll still break down how I achieved a sound that is heavy and raw, yet articulate
