I’m back from a week in Sydney!! Here are the places I’d happily go back to.

I’d heard nothing but good things about Sydney’s food and general atmosphere, which, let’s be real, are the two things I’m usually after. Happy to report it did not disappoint.

First, the coffee. I simply won’t shut up about it. I’ve been more of a matcha person lately, and I don’t typically go for sweet coffee, but something about the way the Aussies do it had me ordering salted maple foam lattes and orange mont blanc cold brews. Apparently that’s who I am now. But don’t fret, if you’re more of a long black person (essentially an Americano), they do those exceptionally well too.

The food was spectacular. Full stop. Maybe I got lucky being shepherded around by locals with excellent taste, but I genuinely didn’t have a bad meal all week. Here are the places I’d go back to in a heartbeat. 👉🏼

Between meals, there was plenty to see and do, not to mention some breathtaking scenery. And every hotel I stayed in was chic, modern, and surprisingly homey. Which was nice, considering I was about as far away from home as I could possibly get.

So here’s my Sydney guide. Not an exhaustive list by any means, but a very good place to start. More to come.

📍 Single O | Surry Hills

Excellent coffee and great people watching in a trendy neighborhood. The brunch was fabulous. The Banana Bread cold brew and the ~actual~ banana bread are worth the return.

📍 Skittle Lane | Sydney CBD / Multiple Locs

I went back for this maple iced coffee with almond milk multiple times. DEF worth the return.

📍 Common Supply | Bondi Beach

The strawberry matcha latte was perfect, and for an easy weekday lunch, they do great bowls (less slop-bowly than at home though). Don’t come for me, but I thought this place kind of gave Erwhon vibes (not in a bad way!)

📍 Yo-Chi | Surry Hills Excellent coffee

I learned the fro-yo hype is not exclusive to the states - although I didn’t see one unreasonable line in Syndey… thank God!
I thought the flavors and toppings here were actually quite good, I would definitely return!

📍 Poly | Surry Hills

This wine bar was chic, buzzy, but still intimate. The small dishes were

One of the prettiest cafés in Sydney, Skittle Lane in Manly.
With its Seoul-inspired aesthetic and amazing coffee, this place is a must-visit.
Highly recommend their oat milk flat white!

You Found The Prettiest Cafe In Manly☕️✨

I thought Skittle Lane in the CBD was already stunning… and said we’d keep exploring — so here’s the next one🤍

Their Manly store might be even prettier🤯

Clean white aesthetics, soft arches, and that minimal vibe — such a calm and beautiful space to unwind😌

The coffee’s just as good, and it suits Manly perfectly… slow, chill, and easy🌿
