I decided to experiment, so this painting is acrylic on a gasso covered watercolor paper 📜 I like the vibrancy of the colors, but painting on wood is much smoother.

So so far I painted Riverwood, Whiterun, Riften and Blackreach. I like the idea of painting the night versions of the cities. It's a bit of a challenge, because there is no direct color reference, but the cozy atmosphere is worth it 🌝

These adventures and Quests shall continue until I take an arrow to my knee

8. In 1763 the Ojibwe used a lacrosse game as a ruse to capture Fort Michilimackinac. They invited the british troops over to watch them play and relax. At the same time however the Ojibwe smuggled weapons onto the field. When the bal "suddenly" flew towards the entrance of the fort the players rushed in an the fort was very quickly seized.

📜 Quest 3.2 | Dungeon: Create Undead

❓Q: Should our crew pick up the Shield? 🛡️

By now we know the Lich King is threatening his expansion, and his actual shrouds of darkness are spreading throughout the lands. The Lich King’s right hand is the powerful Necromancer Sandro.

Sandro was once a human warlock(more will be revealed on this later), before delving into necromancy and becoming a Lich. He believes his actions will liberate the people in Ashenhallow, Skyrim, and other neighboring lands.

Sandro is growing his army of the undead and he is on an intense quest of his own—to obtain all four of the artifacts that can be combined to form the relic artifact: the Armor of the Damned.

The four artifacts needed are the Skull Helmet (helmet +2 Knowledge), the Rib Cage (torso | +2 Spell Power), the Blackshard of the Dead Knight (sword | +3 Attack), and the Shield of the Yawning Dead (shield | + 3 Defense).

The sewers, where our Rascals of the Rift have gained passage, are also home to the catacombs. Rumor has it, the Shield of the Yawning Dead is somewhere inside near one of the resting Draugr.

Swipe through for pictures & story, the journal entry of a fallen hero, and to help shape the direction of our heroes’ journey.

🙏 🎉👏🤔💭 Thanks, kudos, inspiration:

Thank you to our host @greymane_guild from the creative minds of @capt.dark.shark & @2p_figs for quest prompt.

Inspiration for the direction I took the questline stems from two of the greatest games of all time: Skyrim and Heroes 3 / Heroes of Might and Magic 3. 🎮💿🖥️

I built my catacomb duneon building many many catacombs from the free instructions from the amazing designer @marinbrickdesign . The fountain was also his design and instructions for both can be found on his account page.

📜 Quest 3 | Gain Entry to the Sewers | Disguise & Bluff

Our Rascals of the Rift accept Quest 3 from @Greymane_Guild : gain access to sewers. Our heroes take a two prong approach with Throgg, Eydis, and Talen-Sin disguising themselves in fine robes (and no weapons), while Nyssara will leverage her enhanced speechcraft to bluff her way in as hired muscle for whatever event may take place beyond the enchanted sewer gate.

“Ugh, I HATE these clothes and this wig! It makes my head itch”, says Throgg (our Orc).

“At least you can wear pants! I HATE dresses”, screams Eydis. Talen-Sin reminds them of their goal and that they should stagger their entry attempts to the goblin guard.

Nyssara rode her horse, Shadowmere, back to Skyrim, southwest of Riverwood to find the magical trio of standing stones, the Guardian Stones, specifically looking for the Thief Stone to provider her a 20% learning bonus to Stealth skills. After successful activation, she heads back to the gate where the goblin doesn’t believe she’s dressed appropriately for the event.

Nyssara uses a bit of intimidation and conviction in her speech, shutting down the goblin’s riddle request. “Riddle? I am not here for games goblin. You do not need my answer…I am hired muscle for the event!”

Startled, the dim-witted goblin concedes and opens the gate, allowing entry. As Nyssara passes through, the goblin forgets why the gate was open, he peaks outside, and closes the gate, hoping no one witnessed his lapse in judgement.

Thank you to our host @greymane_guild from the creative minds of @capt.dark.shark & @2p_figs

Credit too to @capt.dark.shark for the sewer design!
