Isn't this amazing! We met @skullboystudio in Harrogate, he paints the most incredibly details figurines; even bespoke ones for weddings etc. Look what he did for us!!! Really nice bloke too.

Here's a selection of non-Caucasian Halflings I painted a wee while ago. I hadn't planned on posting today as I'd rather stagger stuff at my own pace. But sometimes you have to stand up and let people know they're safe with you.

It's hard to believe this sort of thing still needs to be said, however I saw some nonsense last night. Watching a narrow-minded racist complaining that another person had painted dark skinned Elves. I have a couple of points to make.

Firstly, human beings are a wonderfully diverse bunch. Regardless of where you're from, your genetic heritage, or what race your parents or grandparents are, there's the potential for your skin to end up any colour on a wide spectrum. Why shouldn't we see that represented by the fantasy or sci-fi peoples we chose to portray on our workbenches and tabletops?

Secondly, these games are set in made-up worlds and universes. You can paint your toys ANY COLOUR YOU BLOODY LIKE! If I want to paint dark skinned Elves, or Halflings, or any other faction for that matter, that's entirely up to you.

And lastly, our hobby communities and spaces are open to anyone that wants to join in, and SHOULD be open to anyone that wants to join in. And that's regardless of race, gender, sexuality, disability, age, etc. You are welcome here. And if you're welcome here, you are free to feel seen and represented in the toys you build, paint, and put on the tabletop.

The only thing there's no space for in our communities, is intolerance and fascism. I'm off to plan some dark skinned Celts for Fada28, because why bloody not?

The colonel has made a strategic alliance with @skullboystudio, collaborating on the specifics of tactical model warfare, an essential practise for any military genius such as our hero. Maybe some equipment is coming the colonels way....

#ProjectArvus is here. And as you might have summised by now, it is a charity project.

To help out the ukrainian people, me and many other hobbyists have banded together to collect some pieces from our collections to raffle off as prizes, to raise some money for charities helping the Ukranian refugees.

As stated in the slides, for every 5$ you donate to the selected charities, you will receive 1 Raffle ticket(you have to mail a screenshot of the donation to projectarvus mail address). on the 6th of March we will then draw the winners for the first wave of prizes in order, in that order they then each get to choose their prize from the pool. you can also check the Blog to see if we add any further charities(you can also DM me to suggest one as well).
With all that said dear #Warhammercommunity, let's do our best to help the ukranian people in their times of need and Slava Ukraini!
