Three years later and still in awe of everything Knight-Thon has given me💛

What started as a casual “you should apply for this graphic design role” from a friend, turned into one of the most meaningful parts of my college journey. From designing social posts and merch to creating screen graphics and working with the most passionate team, I got to be part of something much bigger than myself.

This year alone, we raised $626,416.29 for Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children — and part of that will help bring the new Children’s Pavilion to life. Which is something that will truly be life changing for families. (I cannot wait to see this vision come to life so soon!)

To the families, the kids, and everyone who’s been part of this journey — thank you for being the heart of it all. I couldn’t imagine my senior year at UCF without you💛

12 hours, 19 morale meetings, and $626,416 later…KNIGHT-THON 2025!!! Though this has been my 7th year involved in dance marathon, this year has truly been unlike any other. I have never had more fun, laughter, and silliness than I did this year. Never in a million years did I think I would be the Morale Director of Knight-Thon, get to create my own my own Morale Mix, and have an entire arena full of people dancing along with me!🕺🪩🩵

To Management: thank you for believing in me. I actually have never felt more loved and supported than I have this year knowing that all six of you saw me thriving in this role. I would have never been successful this year if not for your support. I’m so glad I listened and accepted this position.

To my captains: holy moly am I grateful for you all. This year couldn’t have happened without you all. Our group of four was so perfect and I couldn’t have asked for anyone else to dance alongside this year. Thank you for listening to my crazy ideas and tolerating my rambling during our meetings. You are all going to do amazing amazing things in the future and I can’t wait to cheer you on!

TO MY MORALE TEAM: RAH WE DID IT! Each and every one of you brought something unique to the team and I’m grateful that you all joined. In truth, I was nervous I wouldn’t have a team this year or that there wouldn’t be any new members. You all exceeded my expectations in so many ways. Thank you for your endless passion, bright smiles, and loving spirit. I’m going to miss getting goofy with you all every tuesday night!🥹

Knight-Thon this year has been more than I ever could have asked for. I am truly so grateful for all of the experiences I’ve had with this organization so far in college and am BEYOND grateful for everyone who supported me and helped me personally raise $3,171 for Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children🩵This year has meant more than you probably know and I’m going to miss my Morale life so much! Morale director✌️out for now! YEAR 30 HERE WE COME🩵🪩
