“Let It Shine”
Acrylic on Canvas
3x1ft

What started as just a study of light turned into a representation of something that often happens during this human experience: light being blocked, hidden, or stifled. If you’re reading this, this is a gentle reminder that it’s in your hands.

Had the pleasure of exhibiting my art this past weekend with @themk_experience. Hosted and beautifully curated by @mvtt_ & @jaicarrero. The theme of the evening: Elevation. So blessed to have been a part of something so special. 🫶🏾

This was just one of multiple rooms, & I got to exhibit right across from @igobycass_ 🤍

The reason behind it all. You’ve got a great thing going my friend. Congratulations on year 5.🥂 @mvtt_ @mkreation_ds

& somehow I didn’t get a SINGLE stain all night, DO YOU HEAR ME??

I used to only associate crying with negative emotions, & now the tears fall for things like good news, happy endings, certain songs… it’s all just too much. 😂
Side note, any procreate tips are greatly appreciated. 💙
