Client @skyeejasmine cooking nicely here 🍑 the change in her shape has been incredible 📈

Skye and I have worked together for almost 12 months now. The majority of that time has been spent in a small calories surplus.

She was no stranger to resistance training but like many women; less was more when it came to nutrition. I know the fear of eating more first hand but this was the missing piece of the puzzle and Skye trusted me when I said we needed to increase her intake.

In the left picture Skye was 63kg, we pushed up to 73kg and now we’re sitting at 69kg with the aim of dieting down to roughly 65/66kg.

The biggest win along our journey so far has been the restoration of her cycle, we focused on nutrition designed to support her hormones, meal timings to distribute protein, fats and carbohydrates effectively and balanced training demands around how her body felt.

Seeing how much her confidence has grown throughout this process is incredible, she did a photoshoot during her peak growing phase…many competitive athletes wouldn’t do that so I honestly couldn’t be prouder of her.

Her work ethic and attitude is unmatched, let’s finish this diet phase girl, shoot round 2 and then it grow time again. Let’s geddit 🫶🏼

BTS from team photoshoot with @skyeejasmine & @_miaduncombe

I got sent this little gem from @shotby_shaun yesterday and it reminded me what an incredible day the team had.

Photoshoots may seem scary on the surface - I’ve had several so completely get it, I’ve been nervous for every single one, especially when my ladies were getting in front of the camera.

They are however a very empowering experience, seeing all your hard work come together, feeling confident and strong and having an absolute blast trying out different poses. As soon as the photographer shows you that first image captured you have ‘oh my god is that me’ moment and from that point on you feel like a super model.

Both my ladies were celebrating the end of their growing phases and honestly I’ve never been prouder as a coach, seeing them have the most incredible time, feeling amazing and enjoying doing it was a very special experience for all of us 🫶🏼

Whether you’ve dieted, been building or just working on getting out of your comfort zone this is the perfect way to seriously level up your confidence.

I’m already looking forward to the next team shoot in the summer and if you’d like to join us just drop me a message 🤍

8 Months of building for @skyeejasmine - from girl to woman and I couldn’t be prouder
Coached by @trainwith_hay

When Skye came to me she was struggling to grow her lower body, expenditure was high and she was under fuelling herself, a trap I see many females fall into.

We stripped back cardio, steadily increased calories and focused her programming around lower body development to align with her goals.

She committed to: Training hard, fuelling properly, letting go of food fear and most importantly trusting the process

And its safe to say she has absolutely smashed it!

But what I’m most proud of isn’t just her physique. We restored her hormone health. We rebuilt her relationship with food. We shifted her mindset from restriction to performance. The cherry on top is seeing her whole new level of confidence in and out of the gym - she did a photoshoot at her peak building phase…and looked incredible!

We’ve just moved into a gentle deficit which will ramp up over the coming months ready for shoot 2.0 📸 and I’ve just let her back on the stairmaster which I’m not sure if she loves me or hates me for 😂

Smashing it my girl…let’s geddit 📈

BTS from my first Team Phoenix shoot 📸

Seeing how confident these ladies were and how far they’ve both come makes me so proud.

You don’t have to get peeled for a shoot, both Mia and Skye have been growing for the past 6 months and these fabulous ladies should be celebrated. They totally out-posed me as well 🤣

Cannot thank @shotby_shaun enough for an incredible shoot experience, you put the girls at ease and kept this slightly neurotic coach calm as well 🙏🏼 and @thesanctumofficial for providing such fantastic facility.

Official shots are already in so keep your eyes peeled for those 👀

Well done ladies, you’ve made me so proud ❤️

This is how you grow 📈

My @skyeejasmine continues to excel in her building phase so far. 7kg up. Stronger than ever. More confident than ever.

This is what a successful building phase actually looks like 👌🏼

This wasn’t a “bulk and hope for the best.” This was intentional. Structured. Health-first.

She committed to:

➡️ Training hard

➡️ Fuelling properly

➡️ Letting go of food fear

➡️ Trusting the process

And the result? Incredible lower body development. Noticeably stronger lifts. More muscle, more shape, more presence.

But what I’m most proud of isn’t just her physique. We restored her hormone health. We rebuilt her relationship with food. We shifted her mindset from restriction to performance.

That’s the real transformation!

Because muscle means nothing if your health is compromised to get it.

And now she’s heading into a photoshoot at her peak building point to celebrate what she’s built.

After that, we’ll move into a gentle, controlled cut for summer to reveal the work underneath, but only if her health markers stay in a good place.

No extremes. No crash dieting. No undoing the progress. This is what long-term physique development looks like: Health first, physique second, confidence always.

I’m so proud of you 🫶🏼💪🏼

2025 that’s a wrap ✌🏼

I went into this year with a point to prove and along way that need vanished and was replaced with living life for me without fear of judgement 🙏🏼

I had most incredible competitive bodybuilding season, I was better physically and mentally than I could have hoped for, smashed every goal I set out the park and had an absolute blast with the big man @ben.allan__ (didn’t even hate him when we ran a savage dig that turned me into the walking dead 😂)

I launched TrainWithHay and I’ve been helping the most incredible people on their fitness journeys. I am beyond grateful these ladies trust me to guide them and I’m so excited to see what they achieve in 2026 💪🏼

There have been plenty more highlights (and of course lowlights) along the way. I’ve laughed, grieved, overthought and stressed myself out more times than I care to mention, experienced absolute elation, peace and contentment but this is literally life and I’m proud I’m no longer afraid to experience all of these.

My circle is everything to me and I’m truly blessed to have such wonderful people in my life ❤️

5 Weeks into Skye’s Building Phase

I couldn’t be prouder of this one. She has thrown herself into building muscle and taken everything I’ve thrown at her like a champ. Only 5 weeks in and we can both already see a massive difference in her physique 🍑 and she still has abs 🤯

When Skye joined the team she was training 6 days a week, stairmaster cardio and eating around her maintenance calories but she wasn’t seeing the results she wanted.

We stripped back training and focused our attention on building her posterior and quads to balance out her physique. Cardio was heavily reduced and switched to something lighter impact.

We pushed food up into a small calorie surplus, ensuring she was eating to fuel her sessions and her health. She is also welcome to have off plans to ensure we maintain that lifestyle balance although she rarely does 😂

We worked on the mindset required to build muscle, most people of naturally nervous when it comes to eating more and the prospect of gaining some body fat in order to build the muscle but Skye is locked in to the first goal she wants to achieve.

We have a photoshoot we are aiming for next year and then let’s see what comes next 👀😉

Well done my girl, this is going to epic 💪🏼
