I picked up my iPhone in 2014 and started making content in clubs, on nights out, promoting events, people, businesses, whatever I felt needed to be seen. It’s 2026 now AND I JUST WON CONTENT CREATOR OF THE YEAR. 🏆 @creativeindustryawards My first ever award. That’s crazy to even write. I’m still relevant 12 Years Later! Over the years I’ve done the brand deals, worked with some amazing companies, created content for people behind the scenes, hosted, promoted, filmed, edited, gone viral, been on TV, worked with artists, football clubs, businesses, organisations… I’ve had some amazing EXPERIENCES! But this right here hit different. Because last night I actually felt recognised. Not just by people online. Not just by numbers, views or followers. By my peers, by people in the creative industry, by judges AND by the public who voted for me. That choked me up a little bit, I ain’t even gonna lie cause I’m an emotional guy! I even forgot what I would have said had I won 😅 Wolverhampton gave me the space to become who I am. This city was my case study & my launching pad. It gave me somewhere to create, somewhere to experiment, somewhere to build Mr Miami and take that name GLOBAL. And Miami gave me the personality, I ain’t never been green maybe a little rough but hey here we are! 😂😅😂 Swipe for part 2 That’s always been the thing with my content. No matter who I’m promoting, what brand I’m working with, where I am or what I’m doing… I’m always ME. The personality has always been the focal point. The authenticity. The accent. The opinions. The jokes. The energy. That’s what pushed everything. So to leave Miami and land in Wolverhampton work for 12 years, get nominated for a NATIONAL AWARD in Birmingham and come back home with Content Creator of the Year 2026 feels full circle. HUGE thank you to the Creative Industry Awards for recognising what I’ve spent over a decade building. Big respect as well to everybody who was nominated in my category. @jvandbiggss @jamienordin_ @angelllboys some serious talent and some BIG platforms in that category, which makes this mean even more to me. Based in a studio right in the heart of the city centre, she specialises in high end commercial headshots, portraiture and fashion photography, and holds an MA in Fashion Photography from UAL.
