Benvenuti in Finlandia 🦌

In camera.

🦀 granchio reale come small bite

🇫🇮
A few months ago, I came across an open call looking for creators from around the world to experience Finland in a more local and meaningful way. Somehow, I became one of eight selected creators, and this September I found myself in Rovaniemi, experiencing Lapland through food, culture, nature, sauna, reindeer, huskies, the northern lights, and some unforgettable people.

What made this trip so special was not only where we went, but how thoughtfully everything was put together. We were welcomed into local spaces, introduced to traditional ways of life, taken into the forest for meals, taught Finnish recipes, and shown a side of Lapland that felt personal rather than simply touristic.

💌 Invited & organized by @oursfinland @visitrovaniemi
🚐 Fellow creators: @melaniehelr @gliesploracose @inesanttipoika @roseciambelllina @chrispkelley @cnikkyblog
✨ Huge thanks to everyone who made the magic possible: @lapland_hotels @skykitchenview @kangasniemihornwork @arktikumofficial @savuraflakotisaari @laplandsafaris @erkinarkki @konttaniemenporotila @beyondarctic @santaclausvillageofficial @lapinmartat @manninen_joel

There are more wonderful people I couldn’t fit into one post, so I’ll be tagging them in the upcoming Reels. 💙

**

We are continuously enhancing our hotel to create even smoother and more enjoyable experiences for our guests ✨

We are upgrading our main entrance and improving accessibility throughout the hotel. According to the current preliminary schedule, the main entrance will remain in normal use until the end of October. However, depending on the progress of the work, the entrance may occasionally be temporarily unavailable. During these periods, access to the hotel will be through the entrance located on the left side of the building.

Clear signage will guide guests around the area and help them find the correct route to the hotel.

Excellent stay at Lapland Hotels Sky Ounasvaara 🇫🇮

Whatever time of year you visit, I’d recommend 2 or 3 nights depending on your flight times.

✅short drive from airport
✅ perfect location for summer and winter activities
✅ views
✅ dining (honestly the best food we enjoyed whilst in Rovaniemi)
✅ rooms - choose one with a sauna for the special Finnish touch (although this hotel has a public sauna too)
✅ arguably the freshest, coldest and purist tap water in the 🌎

If you’re interested in finding out more information, please get in touch😊
