My cup is so incredibly full. @yourshotau weekend has genuinely been one of the most special weekends of my life. I’m so grateful I was runner up for my stage and had the best birthday to date ‼️

A weekend filled with music that moves people, friendships that feel genuine, conversations I’ll carry with me, big ass laughs, happy tears and dancing until my feet were RAW. Cheering one another on and feeling completely immersed in something far bigger than myself. It reminded me why I fell in love with music all those years ago - because music has the ability to heal & bring complete strangers together and make them feel connected.

Watching everyone including myself step-up and share a piece of themselves was inspiring. It takes fucking COURAGE to put yourself out there, get vulnerable and trust yourself. Not many can do that.

This experience also reminded me that growth always lives on the other side of discomfort. Standing in front of people to be fully seen, embracing vulnerability and sharing my love for global club sounds was so scary - but as soon as I hit that stage I knew I was in my “element” @element_ict

I understand why people say @yourshotau is a life-changing experience. It isn’t just a DJ competition. It’s a community. It’s a reminder that passion connects people. It’s an opportunity to learn, to grow, to be inspired, and to discover parts of yourself you didn’t know existed. It challenges you in all the right ways, and somehow you leave with so much more than you arrived with.

To everyone I met, connected with, learned aside, danced beside, and laughed with… thank you for filling my heart in ways you probably don’t even realise. And to everyone who supported me, believed in me, sent me messages, came to watch, or simply backed me from afar - thank you. I felt every bit of your love.

When you lead with authenticity, stay curious, support others, and follow what genuinely lights you up, incredible things happen. Here’s to more music, more connection, more courage, and continuing to chase the feeling that this weekend gave me. 🌶️❤️‍🔥‼️

@yourshotau • Pre-Selection Day → Week 3. Come for a brief look into my journey so far. Absolutely loving it - it’s pushing me more out of my comfort zone and I need that. I’m so appreciative for what I’ve learned, the community & for my own commitments. Thanks to my trainers - @its_townsend @swillzau and to our sponsors @redbullau @jblaustralia @alphathetaaus @smirnoff only a couple more weeks left before my set day (also my birthday) 4th July at The Prince Consort, Fortitude Valley.
