I noticed Macy's has a 100th parade portrait display in their stores. It was interesting to see this in the Ocean County store. I assume all of them have this display. This one is on level one by the women's shoe area Let me know below if your local Macy’s has it. #macysthanksgivingdayparade #oceancountymall #simonmalls

Based on this updated site plan from Wharton Realty Group and this job posting from Wayfair, a new "Outlet Returns Store" will open in part of the old At Home store in Seaview Square in Ocean Township, NJ. This looks to be the first Wayfair outlet to come to NJ.#wayfair #seaviewsquare #whartonrealtygroup #oceantownship #monmouthcounty

This is a on the lower level of Boscov's at the former Monmouth Mall, soon to be Monmouth Square. The sign used to say “Athletic Shoes,” but since they only display women's shoes here, they took it down; you can see the labelscar though! Stay tuned for more photos from my visit last weekend! #retailmerchandising #boscovs

A recent update from the Monmouth Square construction site! The mall is long gone and most of the new design footprint has been established. Also watch to see what store already has "coming soon" signage up!

STRANGE "EMPLOYEE ENTRANCE" TUNNEL AT MACY'S! In this video I will explore the construction tunnel for employees to access the side entrance of Macy's at Monmouth Square (former Monmouth Mall) and also will tell you some of the new stores coming (it's going to be a while though I think)

🎬 Paramus Park on Netflix! The new Netflix movie Don’t Say Good Luck was released this week, and several scenes were filmed at Paramus Park Mall last summer! I have a strong interest in shopping centers and retail real estate, and I also work as a background actor, so I find it especially interesting when these two worlds cross over. While I didn’t work on this particular production, it’s great to see another New Jersey shopping center being used as a filming location. Malls are still a part of the American consumer and social experience, and with New Jersey continuing to attract more productions, I think we’ll see more shopping centers used as filming locations in the future if they haven’t been already! 🎥 What New Jersey mall or shopping center would you like to see featured in a movie or TV show, if it hasn’t been already? :) 📸 Photos Courtesy: Netflix #ParamusPark #DontSayGoodLuck #Netflix #NJFilm #RetailRealEstate

Saks Off 5th is closing most of their stores. Closing sales begin January 30 online and January 31 in-store. A handful will stay open as close-out centers for merchandise from regular Saks stores. In my view Saks Global is trying to protect what has the most long term potential and that's full line Saks and Neiman Marcus stores. The off-price field is quite crowded with stores like Nordstrom Rack as well as TJX brands and Burlington.

Macys at Brunswick Square Mall is now a "Clearance Center" the first of its kind in the country. Only the first floor is selling space now. Although this location has been rumored to close for a while this conversion I feel puts that to rest for a while.
