Italy days 13 & 14 - Our last full days in Italy 😢. Although I’m not a practicing catholic, I wasn’t going all the way to Rome without visiting Vatican City. Aside from the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Square I honestly did not expect everything we saw inside the city. From room to room and one museum after another, you could literally spend all day in there. But we were there with a purpose, Michelangelo’s masterpiece. After a long trek through many, many rooms we finally ended up in the Chapel where we got to stand and take in the view (and one illegal pic 🤫) of the fresco. Definitely worth the wait 👌. That night was our last dinner with all eight of us and it may have been the best of the trip at DaFrancesco, where I got a non-menu pasta dish prepared just for me 🍝😎. The night ended with one last stop at Trevi Fountain for some night pics and to toss in a few coins for luck. Our last day was Friday and it consisted of a hodgepodge of stops including my favorite gelato spot, Otaleg. We also made it to the top of the “Wedding Cake” in Piazza Venezia and took some skyline pics of the city. Very cool, would highly recommend. It was a trip of a lifetime, better than I imagined and we got to share it with some amazing people. One day we hope to make it back and do it all over again! Ciao Italia 🇮🇹

Saint Pete I have so much to thank you for 💌

7 months ago we packed up one honda civic & had a dream of living cross country… I learned so much about myself, how to adult, have my own apartment & what it’s like to live far away from the life I had previously built. I will never forget the people & places who made my time in the 727 unforgettable 🤍
