💡Thank you @grayareaorg for all the space and care. Thank you @izzyparlamis @loudcinema for being a dream to work with. Thank you @heylionmilk @beast.nest @drewpear @lalin_music for breathing new life into classic short films and allowing our world to witness your magic in person. Thank you to every VHS contributing artist (so many to name). You are ALL the future of Bay Area cinema and beyond. As we celebrated classic experimental films of the past, we also celebrated your works which are destined to become future classics. Thank you to @perfectchao for building a full world in a single 30 minute set and thank you Tal @susjesus for greeting and sending us off with tunes. And thank YOU ALL for being one of the best community crowds we ever had. Every soul in that building was attentive, respectful, reciprocating, and fully understanding of why we gathered and the significance of such an event. This was a new format which brought some anxiety but the way the evening played out could not have been more reaffirming of this path we carve. Community like this can never really die. Life can throw everything at us...but as long as there is passion for creating together, we will find a way to hold space, to hold each other, and open new doors to travel through together...we face the endless mysteries all in together with love in our hearts, and last night that love was felt. So many folks expressed an immeasurable level of inspiration and left us with a new found spark to try new things and take leaps of creative risk. That is why we are here. To mend, plant and grow...with you. We love you. Above are some photos from Saturday night thanks to Gianni Piña @bagofcelery (also shout out to Maya) More photos will be posted soon!!!! . Thank you again and we shall you all in then stars again soon!

💡It's been a honor to witness and help support the path that @stoneycreation has trailblazed over the years. From performing and hosting SMARTBOMBs many moons ago as a sprouting creative, to a present day of releasing some of the most exciting soul music coming out of the bay, holding culture down as a Bandcamp Radio DJ, and shaking dancefloors with DJ sets, we've been in awe the entire time. For this special @_osun show @crybabyoakland we have Stoney opening the experience with a long DJ set to set the mood off for what is destined to be an unforgettable show. . One more opener will be announced soon! Presale tickets moving fast / the link is in our bio! .
