It's a tradition we started last year with our amazing friends at @skylightersofnewyork and we will carry it on year after year. This year, Eddie Golden, was our honored guest... quite literally starting the grand fireworks display to end the evening at Shine Gold 🎗️ On April 7, 2025, Eddie's dad took him to the pediatrician. Pneumonia was initially suspected, which led to urgent care and then an immediate trip to the hospital. Blood work revealed something much more serious: T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) Eddie was considered very high risk when he arrived, with an extremely high white blood cell count. Eddie spent about a month hospitalized at Golisano Children’s Hospital before continuing outpatient treatment at Roswell Park. During imaging, doctors found a mass between his lungs, but they also discovered that Eddie has a congenital heart abnormality. “Stay Golden” has become Eddie’s rallying cry. It's a powerful nod to his last name and a reminder to keep shining with courage, strength and hope through his cancer journey 💛🎗️🫶🏼 #HopeRises #ShineGoldForTheKids #septemberischildhoodcancerawarenessmonth

It was a night filled with hope, love, memories and support for an incredibly important cause. 💛 And what a way to end the evening! 🎆 The night finished with a beautiful fireworks display for the kids and families, presented by the Skylighters of New York. Dominique & Rob 🤍 9.26.2026 Thank you both SO much for having me at your wedding last night. I had such a fantastic time celebrating with you and your beautiful family, and I’m so grateful that you trusted me completely with my vision for this painting. As soon as you told me you wanted to include your little boys in the painting, I knew I had to create something extra special for you. So, on this 24x30 mounted gesso board, I really went all out. Six hours of painting, a gorgeous setting at The Sterling, and one very special family captured in a single moment in time. I am SO proud of how this one came together. Watching your guests throughout the night was also so much fun. They were completely mesmerized by the painting and so excited to see it come together before their eyes. There is something incredibly special about being able to capture not just a wedding day, but the people, the love, and the little pieces of a family that make that moment yours. Your beautiful family, forever captured on this canvas at the exact moment you became husband and wife. 🥹 I can’t wait to bring this one back to the studio and put the finishing touches on it! Another @mercy_flight BASH in the books and, once again, one of the biggest parties of the year. 💥🚁⚡🥳 This one will always be personal for me. About a decade ago, I had the privilege of serving as Mercy Flight’s PR Director for several years, leading the marketing efforts for an organization whose mission I already knew was lifesaving. My own family members have needed Mercy Flight - their lives being saved by this air ambulance WHEN MINUTES MATTERED. The BASH is extra special for another reason, too. Years ago, our team helped bring this event from the Red Cross to Mercy Flight, and we have continued to watch it grow into the unforgettable night it is today. Now, getting to continue supporting the BASH through its social media and marketing feels like such a full-circle moment. A huge thank you to @bryanwittman of @drycreekgroup for always bringing me along for some of the most fun and meaningful projects in WNY.
