A career can change your life ✨️ But sometimes, the journey changes who you are.
Always fascinated by psychology, I started in modelling, moved into aviation as cabin crew, and eventually found myself in the flight deck.At one point, I realised I didn’t want to be just another pretty face. I wanted to challenge myself, learn, and become excellent at something that demanded discipline, focus and responsibility.
✨️Looking back, I realise how much my previous experiences prepared me for aviation.
Travelling the world taught me cultural awareness. Working with different personalities taught me communication and the ability to read people. Aviation strengthened my situational awareness, leadership, discipline, attention to detail and respect for the chain of command.
👌🏽And perhaps most importantly, I learned that professionalism goes far beyond technical competence. It is about your manners, your attitude, morals, knowing what is appropriate, knowing when to speak and when to listen, and treating people with respect.
💯Behind every flight there is preparation, focus, determination and professionalism that most passengers will never see. The beautiful view from the flight deck is only one small part of the story.
✈️One of my first, excellent captain once asked me how much I had spent on my licence and type rating. I jokingly told him I had lost track because it was extremely expensive.
He looked outside and said:

✨️“Then look outside. You paid for this view.”✨️
I have never forgotten that.
Because I remember when becoming a pilot felt very far away. Today, I still have moments when I look out of that window and feel incredibly grateful.
Aviation has taught me that you never stop learning. You meet wonderful people, difficult people, challenging situations—and every experience can become a lesson if you remain curious, open-minded and willing to grow.
So, wherever you are in your journey:
Strengthen your faith. Stay grounded. Keep educating yourself. Keep evolving. And never underestimate what is possible when discipline meets a clear vision.
The view is beautiful.
But the journey that gets you there is even more valuable
