TOOL AT THE SPHERE: Tool at the Sphere is picking up some serious momentum. Drummer Danny Carey said the band has been talking with @spherevegas executives about a possible residency tied to their long-awaited next album. Carey mentioned they’re actively working on new songs and that a 2027 release is the goal, which would line up with the idea of a residency once the record drops. He noted the production lift at Sphere is intense (and expensive), which is exactly why a residency would make more sense here vs. a one-off. Nothing has been officially announced yet, but if any band is built for a 16K, fully immersive venue, it’s @toolmusic. They are consistently one of the most requested bands for a future Sphere residency. If Tool comes, are you in? (video credit: @skymin204)
