Ambition and boundaries aren’t opposites. I recently sat down with @forbes and shared that the professionals actually thriving right now are proof of that statement! They are redefining success on their own terms, not lowering the bar like some would have you to believe. The link is in my bio.

I am so thankful for this opportunity. It means so much to see my words in Forbes and knowing that my perspective comes from a place of lived experience across industries and sectors. When I decided to walk away from “stability” and chart my own path, I had no idea what the future held and that was one of the biggest lessons I had to learn by living. None of us do! But, we can recognize patterns and systems and use that recognition to both change said patterns and systems while learning to navigate them.

In juggling multiple realities, having breadth AND some depth, I’ve learned a lot throughout my career. I’m thankful to the people who see me, and build with me. Let’s keep paying it forward!

We talked careers, trends, microaggressions, legacy — and we didn’t hold back.

We shared the things nobody puts in the job description: how to navigate spaces that weren’t built for us, how to stay grounded when we’re the only one in the room, and how to build careers that actually reflect who we are.

That’s why this matters. Representation in marketing isn’t just about who’s in the ads, it’s about who’s in the strategy meetings, who’s leading the campaigns, and who’s shaping the narrative.
