POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This week has been incredibly special, gorgeous looking leeks were harvested, along with spring onions and beetroot. We found some rare breeds on the farm in the broccoli patch…. And….. we collected the keys for the next farm. A magical 100 acre farm in Steyning, West Sussex. It is now official and a part of the My Little Farm nationwide vision. A blueprint and a base to support surrounding little farms. It was a magical moment when the team stepped onto the land together.

With the first fifty co-founders already secured and the second cohort opening on the 12th of this month we are both excited and honoured to be stewards of this land. Follow the movement in our Bio and stay tuned on this page to join the next cohort.

You can also request more information on cofounding via the 100 acre farm link in Bio.

We can’t wait to share the next steps with you.

We’re looking for up to three volunteer directors to help shape what The Soil Factory becomes next.

Our community compost station in Forest Row is turning local food waste into living compost and we’re bursting with ideas about where this could all go!

But first we need more people around the table at Soil Factory HQ to help make it happen. Could this be you?

You might bring experience with projects, people, money or telling a good story. Or you might be new to being a director. What matters is that the vision excites you and you’re willing to shape and be part of the team that delivers it.

Have a swipe, explore the roles via the link in our bio, and get in touch. You don’t need to know exactly where you fit yet.

And if someone potentially suitable comes to mind, please send them our way!

Our hearts were filled with warmth and love as we watched the connections grow between you🌀

Few things are more beautiful than sharing a space with people who still believe in wonder, people with open hearts to dreaming, creating, expressing themselves, and reconnecting with their inner child.

Thank you for opening your hearts and for the unique energy you brought into this space ✺

Our first member compost return! 🌱

This is a quite but BIG moment for us at The Soil Factory.

Jo was one of the first people to join as a member, and she is now the first member to collect compost from the station.

This compost began as local food scraps, brought by members like Jo, tended at the station, tested (more on that next), matured, and now returned for our member community to use in their garden beds, planters and growing spaces.

It smells good. It feels good. It’s full of life. And it means our first loop is now complete!

We’re now inviting more Forest Row households and those in the surrounding area to become the next members, so we can bring more scraps into the system and make more compost locally.

There are only 15 spots available.

If you’re ready, follow our JOIN link in bio.

One of the happiest birthdays

I am so deeply loved, and I love so deeply.
I feel so grateful for the community that I have around me.
I wouldn’t be who I am without the people I’ve loved, and the people who have loved me.
In all the “right” and “wrong” ways, each connection a blessing.

Thank you London, and thank you to these faces for reminding me of the magic, beauty and love in the world.

Our favourite moments, all in one short movie ❤️‍🔥 @synforia.creative.space

Between Horizons was inspired by the Golden Hour, that fleeting moment when the sun transforms everything it touches. That rare moment you wish could last just a little longer ✺

Thank you to every artist, creator, musician, healer, tea master, volunteer and every guest for your beautiful energy and for becoming part of our space 🕊️

Made with love by: @iliefilmmaker

A window back to everything we shared :)

🎥 Jadele’s full set is now available on YouTube and SoundCloud — links are in our bio.

Watch, listen and follow the light back to Between Horizons ..🌵

300 pledges to keep on BREWING FOR BIODIVERSITY 🥹❤️‍🔥

We raised £8000 over our initial target 🎯

60 people have signed up for the DRINK THE SEASONS box 📦 ! 🥂🍾🌸🐝

Over 300 people believed in us enough to make a donation of their hard earned cash 💸

We are properly a community supported brewery now! This means the world to us and gives us so much motivation. Nothing about the human scale and networked based regenerative botanical brewery we’ve been building is easy in this economy - despite how valuable it is. It needs a groundswell of support to succeed and now it has it 😊

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE involved in this campaign, from the team in the brewery that came up with it all, to @lukeflegg and @slacketyslackslack @hanski_grows and @compost.tom that have all worked so hard on the communication of it all…. To everyone that has supported us in the past @betheearth.foundation @realfarmingtrust and everyone that has just chipped in for an Old Tree future 🙌 and all of our incredible customers and clients from @seasonswholefoods to @rye_bakery and the community behind @oldtreeevents

Couldn’t have done it and wouldn’t still here without every single one of you!!

You all give us so much hope and inspiration.
Thank you from bottoms our hearts 🥰

Can’t wait to get all these rewards produced and packed now!! And to UP THE REVOLUTION 💫 TO FERMENT A FOREST GARDEN FUTURE

Tears of joy and gratitude..
It’s so incredible to look through everyone’s comments and see all of this support… TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY FIVE SUPPORTERS and counting!!!

There couldn’t be a greater motivation to keep doing this and as our friend Tom Morris says - get Old Tree into ‘dream territory’.

We are brewing the change we want to see in this world and every one of these donations means so much. It’s a vote 🗳️ for the kind of future you all want to see and we are so honoured to be empowered to continue organising, foraging for and fermenting this!

THANK YOU to the genius film maker @lukeflegg of @passionworksproductions for putting together this masterpiece that does justice to this crowd who have supported us on @crowdfunderuk with @avivauk match funding. You are a wizard Luke! And so are you @slacketyslackslack for all the story telling and communication support throughout this campaign we have been working on since November 2025!! Wha a journey it’s been… 😌

Can we get to 300 supporters for Drink the Seasons by the end of tomorrow!?!

Last 24 hours is GO! 🍻✨🍻✨

Today, at about 4pm 🕓 Tai opened the door of the brewery and shouted ‘WE MADE IT’

This was a huge moment for us that we will never forget.

We needed to raise this money to give our social enterprise the economic capacity and resilience to adapt to these incredibly challenging times. We’re so inspired by our idea to DRINK THE SEASONS, but the truth is, the success of this @crowdfunderuk campaign was also a a survival necessity for our small business.

We are so relived to have made it !!
We are officially a COMMUNITY SUPPORTED BREWERY !! 🤗✨🍻😁🥂🫶🌸🐝

Thanks to all our supporters. Just over 3 days left now! Every donation is still doubled by @avivauk and amplifies our impact 🌍💚

Now we have the 75K stretch goal - this is when the possibilities spiral!! 🌀🙌💫
