What an achievement!!!!

No… not me running the @mcrhalf

To all my family, friends, runners from @slaithwaitestriders run club, and my Insta followers, that’s digged deep into their own pockets and donated.

You’ve helped raise £365 for @cr_uk

I know it’s not thousands of £££££s but it’s still just as worthy.

Massive thank you….

I’ll keep the page open for another week, so if anyone would like to top up the pot.

💚

Great road running @slaithwaitestriders tonight!
I found the hills very challenging but really tried hard and the steps at the end were a killer. Was so glad the make it back to base 🙌

A few highlights from the Heights Ultra Trail last weekend 🏃📷

There was plenty of determination, energy and atmosphere throughout the event, with runners taking on the challenge while supporters and volunteers helped keep everything moving.

I always enjoy photographing events like this because there is so much more to capture than the action itself. The concentration, encouragement, scenery and small moments along the way all help tell the story of the day.

Here are some of my favourite photographs from the event.

This is a HUGE shout out and a BIG Thank You to all the club members from @slaithwaitestriders who helped clear the paths up at Wholestone / Scapegoat Hill / The Old Quarry area.

I know you had an organised event, but as a local dog walker, I am so grateful for what you have done.

It's actually a pleasure to walk up there again without getting attacked by the foliage, nettles, brambles, and long grass. All my doggies are grateful too.

Thank you! 😍

** Sorry for the delay. I meant to post this a couple of weeks ago. 😊

Lindley 10k today for @freshfutures_charity
Look out for @marsdenracers @slaithwaitestriders @lindleyrunningclub @holmfirthharriers @meltham_ac @salford_harriers
Well done everyone! I did feel slightly bad watching you whilst eating an almond croissant and drinking a cappuccino.
Well done to all the runners and volunteers!

An epic Saturday running 109km through the mountains of Snowdonia. UTS lived up to its reputation as one of the tougest mountain races in the world, and I had to work seriously hard to get across that finish line alive, let alone in one piece. Horrendous weather, ankle breaking descents, killer climbs & more bog/mud than I've ever seen before. Very happy with how I ran, just the one blowout/meltdown at mile 55, apart from that I got around pretty unscathed. It was also fantastic to share nearly 40 miles with @jack_grover_ and cross the line together, we pushed eachother on during some very tough moments.

68 mile and 20,000/ft of climbing around Snowdonia is no easy feat...😭

I ran 51 miles! The Calderdale Way Ultra on Saturday was my third ultramarathon and a big step up from the two 50k races I'd done so far, but what a day! As a comer-inner to Yorkshire, I'm so grateful for these chances to explore the local area and earn my honorary Northerner status 🙏

Big up @shestrides.events @calderdale.way.ultra for such a lovely atmosphere and lots of party rings, @slaithwaitestriders and @kiersti.dickinson for making me believe I could tackle something like this, and @steven86cook for too much to mention 💚

My first time being part of @slaithwaitestriders 72hr Charity Relay Event.

Being part of the club is one thing but when we all come together to raise money for @holmevalleymrt and @slaithwaitecc we know how to smash it!

The dedication and support of this community is quite something and I love being part of it. 💚
