Year 3 at @aclfestival with the all time @howlerbros crew 👌🏼🫶🏻

I love these people and I love this city. A place where you’re 20 year old self runs wild for a weekend full of amazing music, incredible food, endless laugh attacks, fish heads, nerf guns and a wonderful group of humans who fly in from all over to band together to step into our version of never never land, this time every year 🫶🏻❤️👌🏼🌀 who’s coming with us next year??

// RAIN OR SHINE // Mother nature threw us a curveball for weekend one of @aclfestival, but that didn’t stop the good times. It certainly made it memorable. We hit the fest hard and crossed paths with many of you in your finest HB duds. Here’s a little photo recap of the action from the lenses of @alimarieparker and @sloeben.

// BORRACHO PESCADOR 15 // On paper, @borrachopescador is a fishing tournament. In reality, it’s the best party on the coast with a serious mission behind it. This year the BP faithful raised $515,000 for @texaschildrens, @themarfanfoundation, @rettsyndromeorg, and we couldn’t be prouder to be part of it.

For the second year in a row, we turned a sandbar into a full tiki party in the middle of the action and turned the flats into an island getaway. Big thanks to our friends @turtleboxaudio, @smithoptics, @bigtreeoysters, and @oldsmokeygrills for bringing the tunes, shades, oysters, and smoke. Cold drinks, warm sand, zero complaints.

None of this happens without the crew running the show: @kdubwright, @turnertake2, @actioncliff, @neil.c.turner, @tx_trobertson, @fatties_on_the_fly, plus a small army of volunteers. Y’all make it look effortless, but we know the hours and heart that go into every BP. Thanks for letting us tag along. Already dreaming about BP16.

It really is a great design. These boards work in everything from knee high Gulf slop, tanker waves, to the wave pool, to double over head point breaks, and beyond. Surfs from the nose as well as it does the tail. Beginners to advanced surfers have all loved this board, even life long short boarders switching to a longboard for the very first time.

// ACL LAUNCH PARTY // We had ourselves a big, sweaty throwdown in the parking lot of Howler Brothers World Headquarters to celebrate the launch of our 10th Yellow Rose Collection for Austin City Limits Music Festival. @thegringoss rocked it for a crowd that swelled into the streets of our little Clarksville neighborhood here in Austin. Apologies to our neighbors for the ruckus! Next year we go to 11!

// GOOD GAME // This one was fun. Nine yellow roses from our ACL Fest wristband giveaway have been found. One remains. We will only give out the hint on its whereabouts at our ACL X Howler Brothers Launch Party, tomorrow at Howler HQ 7:30-9:30PM.

Thank you to everyone who’s been searching Austin high and low for these roses. We had a blast hiding them, scheming up the next hint, and reading all of your messages. We watched dozens of you search Q2 Stadium for days, saw you barrel through the crowd at College Gameday to find us, and heard the lengths you went to lap Town Lake trail in the middle of the night.
