🏀 AUSTIN CAESAR — COLLEGE COACHES, PAY ATTENTION

Austin Caesar is one of the most explosive players in the senior market this season. Coming off a successful season with @polarisprepmbb he carried that momentum into the AAU summer, putting together multiple 30-point performances throughout league and tournament play.

Austin is a true two-way guard who impacts the game on both ends of the floor. He can knock down the three, pull up from mid-range, create his own shot, and attack downhill with speed and power.

One of his biggest weapons is his ability to come off ball screens at full speed, make reads and put immediate pressure on the defense.

But what separates him is his MOTOR.

He picks up full court, creates steals, competes every possession and rarely takes a play off. Combine that motor with his basketball IQ, scoring ability and athleticism, and you have a player who can make a difference at the next level.

Austin Caesar is a college hooper. College coaches should have him on their radar. 👀🏀

🏀 PLAYER SPOTLIGHT — JOSH MACLEANN | 2027 GUARD

Josh Macleann is a Grade 10 guard heading into Grade 11 with HQ Elite Canada, displaying an impressive ability to operate in ball-screen actions and consistently make the right reads.

What stands out most is his versatility as a shot-maker. Josh can shoot off the dribble, catch-and-shoot, and come off ball screens, with a polished three-ball and smooth mid-range game.

Under pressure, he stays composed, makes the right reads, and creates high-percentage opportunities for both himself and his teammates.

🇨🇦 Canada Basketball and college coaches abroad need to keep an eye on Josh Macleann.

🚨 REMEMBER THE NAME: SOREN NICHOLSON 🇨🇦

One of the most underrated prospects in Canadian basketball is starting to become impossible to overlook.

Soren Nicholson is coming off a monster prep season at J. Addison, averaging 27.5 PPG and leading the league in scoring.

🏆 BACK-TO-BACK CNIT MVP.

That’s production against some of the best talent Canada has to offer.

Elite athleticism. Three-level scoring. Explosive in transition. Creates his own shot. Gets buckets when it matters.

The résumé speaks for itself.

College coaches: Soren Nicholson needs to be on your radar. 👀📈

Canada has another serious talent coming up. 🇨🇦🏀

NBA Season Preview 9/30
Toronto Raptors 2026-27 Season Preview: Projected Over/Under according to BetMGM: 45.5 wins
My Prediction: 54-28 (4th seed)

Starting Lineup:
Immanuel Quickley
RJ Barrett
Kawhi Leonard
Scottie Barnes
Jakob Poeltl

IQ has flashes of looking like a great player in this league and I’d love to see him put things together and be more consistent on a night to night basis because when he’s on, his offense is really fun to watch. He’s a good scorer and a great knockdown shooter but I’d love to see him develop more as a playmaker and perimeter defender (I don’t think he’s very bad defensively tho, unfortunately he’s just a small guard).

RJ is a very valuable piece for this Raptors team. Great leadership, gets to the basket with ease and he’s an incredibly smart player. Although I think he’s a super underrated playmaker, shooter and defender I’d love to see him polish his game to take him to the next level. If he had a all star caliber season this year the raptors could be one of the top dogs in the NBA (they might already be tho).

Kawhi Leonard had his best offensive season last year averaging 27.9 ppg on near 50/40/90 splits. He’s one of the absolute greatest two way players of all time and he’s still a top 10 player in the league. If he’s as good as he was last season he could make all nba 1st or 2nd team for sure and he’s going to be huge for them all season, especially in the playoffs.

Scottie is one of the most likeable guys in the league and he looks like he’s about to be a certified superstar soon, maybe even this season. He’s got unbelievable strength, an impressive constantly improving offensive game, great rebounding and playmaking while being a top 3 defender in the league. He should be a lock for all defensive first team and an all nba team.

Jakob Poeltl NEEDS to have a bounce back season. He has one of, if not the worst contract in the league and he needs to show he can be the interior defender he was and dominate the glass while making his shots around the rim efficiently.
