SSR MK3 refinished in Nissan Silica Breath and Brushed Lips.

These weren't in a bad state at all but like a lot of us, Max had picked up two pairs from two different places. One pair had silver faces, one gold, with the gold being mid way through a restoration already (a poor attempt at stripping the wheels of the anodising by the previous owner, not Max)

As these are going on his MX5, we started by sending these off for a PCD conversion from 4x114.3 to 4x100. Back in my hands, all anodising was stripped from the lips, taken to a mirror polish then brushed. Max wanted to recreate the look of an anodised lip with a bit more shine, I feel i've achieved that.

Next up the faces were stripped, prepped and finished in Max's choice of Silica Breath, an R34 colour, and a 2K clear to not only help with durability, but makes them a breeze to clean.

Finished result is what you see here. Thanks for letting me try something different, the way the gloss champagne faces sit against the lips is amazing, great choices.
