โžก๏ธSo yesterday I made a few business and thank you cards. Still in.love with my logo and watermark created by @ultimatebrandacademy (Ericka you did the darn thing)๐Ÿ’™ Designed in Canva imported to silhouette and boom some quick cards to use until my others come in. I added clear contact paper to a few to give them that glossy look. Not to bad if you need them in a pinch. #silhouettecameo #canva #businesscardsdesign #thankyoucards #ultimatebrandacademy cademy

The branding mistake I don't want you to make.โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Have you heard the saying, "bitten off more than you can chew"?โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Have you ever done it? I HAVE.โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € September 2018, I did my first brand photoshoot for 849 Digital, my full-service digital marketing agency. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € I was so excited for this shoot, and everything that I just knew I was going to accomplish. My photos looked amazing, and they just screamed, "she knows her shit."โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Well, as much as I knew about branding and digital marketing, there was still 1 thing that I didn't consider... โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € MY LIFE.โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € I was a mom and a solopreneur, and I hadn't considered how much time it would require to run a full-service digital marketing agency.โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € With all the services I was offering, I couldn't take on more than 2 clients at a time, and even then, I had to sacrifice more time with my son than I wanted to.โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € I was booking clients, but I was miserable because I couldn't do the 1 thing I truly wanted, and that was to spend as much time with my son as I wanted.โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € If I wanted to get back to my "WHY", I had to change my business model.โ €โ €โ € AND I DID!โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Can you relate? โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Have you created a business that's just not sustainable for the life you have, or want?โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Is success in your business taking you further away from your "WHY"?โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Do you want to make a change, but don't know how?โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € I understand completely. This is a problem with what I call your life-business alignment.โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € This is one of the things we're talking about today in Day 1 of my #7DayBrandPlan Challenge.โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Because of this mistake, I made sure to not only include this in The Ultimate Brand Planner, but to make it the first thing we address.โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Comment below, and let me know if you're currently battling with this. ๐Ÿ“ธ: @shotbydreamerspd Brand photoshoot brand photography branding mistakes
