The Flesh People
Writer/Director: Keshav Srinivasan
Currently on the film festival circuit

Two roommates, desperate to feel successful in the milieu of New York City, turn to macabre money-making schemes by performing underground surgeries and serving human meat to unsuspecting customers.

This independent feature from Writer/Director Keshav Srinivasan is a darkly funny, character driven horror comedy about bad roommates, medical malpractice and cannibalism. It’s a euphoric love letter to genre films of the 70’s and 80’s oozing with passion, memorable moments and 100% practical effects.

Jorge Carrión Álvarez and Louise Heller are phenomenal in their respective roles. To watch these characters from different generations, backgrounds and life experiences embark on an unexpected journey is a joy. Their situation escalates to unprecedented levels, and you’re left in awe of what mishaps will befall them next. With each hurdle they encounter, their bond grows stronger forming an undeniable and unlikely kinship.

The Flesh People is a wonderfully captivating, creative and unconventional horror comedy packed full of memorable moments. I had a blast with this film and hope you all will too!
