From the intricate braids passed down through generations to the sharp fades at our favorite barbershops, beauty has always been a reflection of our vibrant cultures. Across Eritrea and Ethiopia, the way we style our hair, enhance our look, and carry ourselves is more than just personal expression—it’s history woven into every detail. Our beauty traditions tell stories of resilience, identity, and the deep pride we hold in who we are.

This is why we’re kicking off our EESA Business Spotlight campaign with the beauty industry—highlighting the talented braiders, barbers, and lash techs in our community who keep these traditions alive while evolving with the times. Whether it’s through traditional or modern styles, these artists shape more than just our looks—they shape our confidence and connection to our roots.

Supporting Eritrean & Ethiopian-owned businesses isn’t just about getting a service—it’s about lifting each other up and ensuring that success flows through our communities. There’s enough support to go around for everyone! Let’s celebrate and invest in the talent within our own people.

📢 Tag your favorite Habesha beauty professionals below! Let’s give them the recognition they deserve. 💛

“Why should I get my lashes done?”🤨⬇️
-
Well for starter’s lash extensions are fantastic for extending the length and volume of natural lashes🌟
-
They provide a low-maintenance beauty regimen that saves time on makeup application every day!🧚
-
Another great reasoning as to why would be because
Lash extensions can give you a more beautiful and defined appearance, which will increase your confidence for both special occasions and regular wear✨
-
Lastly, you can customize your lash look to meet your needs! This means you can get as creative as you want🤗
-
Finally convinced?🥳 Yay! Book with us using the link in bio!!
