Being born and raised in Miami with a Cuban American wife, this session tapped into so many special places for me also! Had a blast being a tourist in our own home ☺️ “Free Cuba” mural by the great @atomiko #amorsinpena

When Yazmin and I discussed her engagement session, she mentioned she wanted it to be somewhere really special to her and Andy. It was most important for them to pay tribute to their beloved island of Cuba 🇨🇺

I took that and immediately knew that Calle Ocho was the place to be as the hub of Cuban culture here in Miami. Having a Cuban-American wife, I took this task very seriously 😅

We started at the famous Domino Park, made our way to Miami’s famous @azucaricecream ice cream, the iconic @ballandchainmia, and dropped by a beautiful wall mural by @atomiko and rooster sculptures by Cuban sculptor Tony Lopez. The day was wrapped up in the most Miami way possible…with coladas (Cuban espresso) ☕️

Here are the results!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for how perfect Yazmin & Andy are eating ice cream. Sneak peek of today’s fun session 🍦

Also I know I am extra and have a problem when I needed to change the crosswalk number to the wedding date (pic 4). #amorsinpena

. : : S I S T E R H O O D : : . Do your sisters have your back? @Luxeisle Goddess Queen Mali is the first one I want to honor, but she deserves her own post, coming soon! 😉

A few people really know what it takes to put together or participate in a production like a fashion show 💃🏼.

Since the very beginning, @irinasam.miami has been my partner in crime backstage when I have had the opportunity to present my work on stage! It is always teamwork. I still remember the chills and stomachache seconds before the runway happens, but once you know your sisters have you covered, you trust, let things go and flow. One more time I have to say #sherox !

This Russian bombshell understands and values, the power, the beauty, and the reach of being unconditional helping other sisters to rise and shine.

The stress and adrenaline take the best of you, for sure.😅 I was happy, sweating, and even more hyper as usual but @slayedfacebysam 💄saved me as well! This babe made me look flawless, despite all the craziness going on backstage. Having amazing photographers from all over the world around shooting, like destination photographer @dannybatista, makes you freak out even more 😵‍💫, but she was a lifesaver and a total sweetheart!

Count your blessings and recognize your sisters. They are part of them.

Thanks and a huge shoutout to these fairies who were an essential part of our experience during @miamiswimweek.fwo
