THE SONG - “Sanctuary Space” Is “Sleeping Orchards “ New single. Check out @sleepingorchard

A Dreamy romantic song I recorded on cassette, trying to stop myself taking it too far every step of the way.

They key for this one was capturing a dreamlike, romantic atmosphere and a largely intimate production/arrangement, moving to a large swelling orchestration IF and when the time came. I didn’t start with much of a plan, apart from recording the guitar part I’d made into an SM58 as a demo, with improvised arrangement, and then leaving it two weeks to come back and finish the rest of the recording.

I hope you like it. “Sleeping Orchard. “ Will.

THE ARTIST - The listener is drawn into sleepy bluesy folk music with an added twist of psychedelia that brings to mind the early days of Pink Floyd.”

“Rootsy psychedelia that combines vintage San Francisco-style guitar work (including plenty of tasteful instrumental breaks) with a hippyish, organic vibe that’s quite different.”

LYRICS

The writer sows abstract thoughts in paper fields
Though unintelligible, they carry meaning.

and no one knows by the last twelve-thirty show
What the actor thinks about the actress.

Let me fetch my pen and take to the stage again,
Be my audience in your front-row fashion

I might just catch your eye in the amber candlelight
Flicker back and forth, our enamoured gaze.

Blessed auditorium,
Succumb to weakness in our sanctuary space
In love’s reverberation

Back at home, our iconic village sign,
faded, overgrown, never lost its purpose.

Now I may take a little time to find the phrase,
But for all my days, I’m yours.

Blessed auditorium,
Succumb to weakness in our sanctuary space
In love’s reverberation

New Year, New Music🎵🎸🔥

I wrote the chords to 'Jehssy's Song' nearly 15 years ago, and never found a proper place for them. When my wife's birthday rolled around in November, I decided to write a song for her, and the words finally came out.

I ended up enlisting the help of @sleepingorchard to help produce the song, and it actually turned out pretty good.

This is the closest you will ever see me get go Sufjan Stevens.

We teamed up with Zach Stich to sprinkle some country magic on his latest Christmas single, "Mrs. Claus," and the results are nothing short of amazing!

🚀🎵 I'm thrilled to announce that I've CREATED A THEME SONG that's out of this world! 🌌🔥

Earlier this year, my awesome friend Adam Kohlenberg tapped me to compose the electrifying theme song for his groundbreaking show, 'Orbit Radio.' Imagine Space Ghost: Coast To Coast, but reimagined as a captivating podcast adventure!

As a die-hard Adult Swim fan, I leaped at the chance to craft a spine-tingling theme song for such an epic show. 🎶

This opportunity also allowed me to showcase the incredible musical talents within the Rhynestone community. With the world's finest session musicians by my side, we were unstoppable in creating music for this colossal project.

🎉 This track is the pulse-pounding intro to the show, and the full second episode is already LIVE on YouTube. Find the link in my bio (@bannerdriskellmedia) and prepare to be captivated!

Mark your calendars because this sensational song will be hitting streaming platforms early next year. Get ready to groove to the beats of Rhynestone's super-talented musicians:

IT’S FINALLY OUT!!

Congratulations to @slimpicknz420 for releasing his debut single, Drunk Driving Tow Truck Driver. We helped Slim write, arrange, record, and produce this song with his vision in mind.

Slim had been performing this song for years as an open-miker, but was unsure about how to turn the song into a recording that he would be proud of.

Though Rhynestone’s tried-and-true production methods of tight songwriting, efficient arrangements, world-class musicians, and top-level mixing, we produced an amazing piece of music that truly represents the vision that Slim wanted to achieve.

It’s the level of personalized craft that we aspire to at Rhynestone, and this song is one of the best examples of this.

A quick shout-out to the team of musicians who made this song come alive.

Just had the privilege of producing Chris Ray King's latest track, Half A Heart. Couldn't resist laying down some slick guitar playing on this amazing song! Not only that, I also contributed some killer backing vocals (you won't want to miss those).

This is the second song I’ve produced for Rhynestone, and I’m so thankful that our team of world-class musicians consistently delivers these amazing performances. It’s easy to sound this good when you’ve got a team as good as ours. #MusicProduction #BackingVocals #TalentedMusicians

My favorite part of Misfit toys is this B-section. We went all out. Slap bass, stylophone, group vocals, country guitar licks, and clavichord. Somehow it still sounds like Christmas. If you haven't yet, check out the link in my bio for the full version.
