Reflecting back to two months ago, when we embarked on a 2-week-long regional tour across VIC and NSW with the @australianchamberorchestra collective.

From rehearsals at the Sydney pier, to meeting Nigel Westlake and premiering @oliviabettina’s new work, to the beautiful beaches at Warrnambool, to the best bus driver to do it: Justin, to the 12 Apostles, to the Penguins at Phillip Island, to @aiksgoto’s “light bites” (absolute feast), to Shepparton, to getting told off by FIFO workers at Wagga Wagga for a chamber bash-through 😂, to a barnyard performance in Orange, it was one highlight after another!

Looking forward to next week; starting rehearsals for “From Winter’s Stillness” with @australianchamberorchestra, touring nationally!

New program! As part of the “Medtner & his Pianism” concert series, I will join @sleeplessviolin Fiona Qiu, 1st prize winner of 23rd Kendall National Violin Competition, in an afternoon recital.

The program centers around the nostalgic B minor sonata by Nikolai Medtner, along with romantic works by Schumann, Brahms & Wieniawski.

Tour Diaries: ACO Collective perform Bach, Brahms and Pärt.

From Warrnambool to Cowes, Shepparton, Wagga Wagga and finishing up in Orange, we shared our music through concerts and community outreach programs and took in the sights of beautiful regional Victoria and New South Wales along the way.

ACO Collective unites ACO musicians with Australia’s most talented young string players, proudly mentoring and touring a new generation of artists.
