A PROUD MONSTER YOGURT MOMENT! 💚

We couldn’t be prouder of one of our youngest teammates, Colin! 🌟

Colin has been working hard learning the ins and outs of Monster Yogurt, from customer service and daily operations to what it really takes to be an entrepreneur! 💪🍦

Last night, he had the opportunity to run our Monster Yogurt Pop Cart at his childhood church, St. Luke’s, during their Fall Festival & Chili Cookoff! 🌶️🍂

What makes this even sweeter? Not only was Colin gaining hands-on business experience, but 25% of pop sales went right back to St. Luke’s! ❤️

At Monster Yogurt, we believe in more than just serving sweet treats. We believe in mentoring young people, building confidence, teaching responsibility, and giving the next generation the tools to become tomorrow’s leaders and entrepreneurs.

Way to go, Colin! We are so proud of the young man you’re becoming, and we can’t wait to see where your entrepreneurial journey takes you! 💚

From fluffy to feathered, furry to scaly, our animal friends joined the St. Luke’s community yesterday morning for our annual Blessing of the Pets! 🐾

Celebrating Episcopal Schools Week with @slessatx , we gave thanks for the joy, companionship, and unconditional love our pets bring into our lives. What a special morning shared by our church, school, families, and their beloved companions! ❤️

A special thank-you to our St. Luke’s church family for providing treats and bowls of water for our furry friends, along with refreshments for everyone to enjoy!

Move over, fancy weekend spots—the most exclusive brunch reservation in town is actually the St. Luke's cafeteria. 🥞✨

Ever wondered what fuels these tiny scholars? Take a sneak peek at today’s brunch spread! It’s hands-down one of our students' absolute favorite meals (because let's be honest, breakfast foods taste ten times better at lunchtime). 🍳🥓

Warning: May cause extreme cravings for maple syrup. 🧇

Move Over, Cheeseburgers! 🍔👑
Let’s be honest—cheeseburgers usually wear the school lunch crown. 👑 But our Guancho Pork Loin with Chimichurri sauce walked in today and totally challenged the champ!

Even though cheeseburgers put up a very good fight, our flavor game is leveling up big time.

What’s the verdict? 🤔
Swipe through to see what else shared the spotlight with our fan-favorite burgers today! 👇

The Contender: Fancy, flavor-packed Guancho Pork Loin 🌿🔥

The Champion: The legendary, classic cheeseburger 🍔🧀

The Sidekick Squad: All the awesome sides that made today's lunch plate an absolute masterpiece 🍟🥕

Poll time: Are you Team Cheeseburger, or are you brave enough to try the Chimichurri challenge? Let us know in the comments! 👇💬

Guess what day it is?! 🐫
Hint: It’s green, it’s mashed, and it usually costs extra. 😉
Happy Hump Day AND National Guacamole Day! 🥑🎉
We know getting over the Wednesday hump can feel like a climb, but our cafeteria crew is ready to smash today like a perfectly ripe avocado. 💥 We're bringing that "extra" energy to the lunch line today, serving up healthy smiles and a whole lot of green goodness to get our students through the rest of the week.

Warning: Free avocado puns will be served with every lunch tray. Let’s guac and roll! 🌮💚

👇 What's your family's ruling: are you Team Chunky Guac or Team Smooth Guac? Let us know in the comments!

🍎 Did your kiddo come home talking about apples today?

We hosted our monthly educational seasonings day in the cafeteria, diving headfirst into the delicious world of apples and their endless culinary possibilities!

Over 7,500 varieties of apples are grown worldwide, meaning it would take you over 20 years to try them all if you ate a new one every single day.

Apples float in water because 25% of their volume is actually made up of air.

Apple trees take 4 to 5 years to produce their very first fruit after being planted.

The lunchroom was buzzing as students explored an absolute abundance of creative apple dishes. From savory bowls of Granny Smith Apple and Butternut Squash Soup to the classic crowd-favorite Apple Pie, it was a fantastic way to blend nutrition with fun.

What is your child’s absolute favorite way to eat an apple? Let us know in the comments below! 👇

Yesterday, we celebrated the start of a new school year with our Backpack Blessing during both the 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. services! 🎒

Our children and teachers received a special blessing and prayer for the year ahead, and after the services, families had a chance to capture the moment with back-to-school photos in front of our colorful sign and balloon arch. Kids also got to choose a special backpack tag to take home! 📚🎈

A big thank-you to Bonnie Grubbs, our Director of Children’s Ministry, for putting together such a joyful celebration and helping our St. Luke’s children begin the school year feeling loved, supported, and blessed. 💙

Wishing all of our students, teachers, and school staff a wonderful year ahead! 🍎📓 #stlukeschurch #BackToSchool #backpackblessing #Episcopalchurch #sanantoniochurch

🙏 Preparing for a new school year in prayer

This week, our St. Luke’s staff gathered for Eucharist as we prepare to welcome our students back for another school year.

As we look ahead to the start of school on August 19, we’re grateful for the opportunity to pause, worship together, and pray for our students, families, teachers, staff, and the year ahead.

May this new school year be filled with learning, growth, friendship, and God’s presence. We’re excited to welcome everyone back! 📚🐯 #episcopal #episcopalchurch #episcopalschool #backtoschool #stlukes
