@slicelowestoft 😍
Throwback to a couple of weeks ago when I saw the amazing girls from Slice at a pop up stall at a baby/toddler Easter group that my girls went to 🙌
Ridiculously nice surprise and also, any excuse to consume more chocolate based foods over Easter 😅
I’ve been dying to try their creme egg cookies but because of work, I didn’t have the time to pop in to their cafe. This perfect pop up made the hectic day 1000X better.
I genuinely had a moment with that cookie where I had to take a break and say “holy sh*t this is good!” Always raved about their cookies and this raised the bar even more 😍
I also had a Maltesers brownie, mini egg shortbread and a chocolate chip cookie - all ridiculously nice. I did (reluctantly) share *some* at work and they went down so so well.
Cannot wait to visit soon ❤️

✨ WOW ✨ This year local businesses have helped me to get over 650 books out in the local community in Lowestoft and surrounding areas.

Local businesses sponsored books and @laurens_littlebooknook did an Easter and Summer book hunt by hiding FREE books for children to find!

The feedback was amazing and it was so lovely to see all the smiles on children's faces when they found a book. Thank you to the parents that shared some lovely photos!

In the UK, there are over 400,000 children that don't own a single book and therefore my passion was to provide children and families with FREE books for them to read together at home.

I want to give a big shout out to all the businesses that have sponsored over the past year. And a massive thank you to @pawsomepaws.ria that sponsored both reading events AND donated 100 books to a local nursery, primary school and to the childrens ward at @jamespagethospital

I also want to give a big thank you to Kate and Freya at Beachside Trinkets and Rose from @red.rose.studiose who helped me on multiple times over the year to hide some books during the book hunts 📚
