The ultimate “who can open their mouth wider” competition captured by @slightly_feralsa 🦛😍

Do you know?💡Hippos secrete their own natural “blood sweat” 🩸that acts as sunscreen and antibiotic. Despite the name, this thick, pinkish-red fluid contains no actual blood or sweat. It is produced by special glands under the skin and serves three critical survival functions:
- Sunblock: absorbs harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays from the intense sun☀️
- Moisturizer: It keeps their sensitive skin from drying out and cracking ✨
- Antiseptic: It prevents serious infections in wounds caused by their aggressive fights🦛🦛
