3rd triathlon after two weeks out from Kokopelli this past weekend.
.
This time I had the privilege to race amongst friends & making new friends during the race.
.
Although I placed 3rd 🥉 in my category, it was really about all the sacrifices and time spent during a training that really paid off.
.
To me it was sharing small moments of joy watching everyone come out.
@bbsctri brought the best in the triathlon community through challenges.
.
Some people have different reasons why they race but you can’t buy the satisfaction after crossing that finish line 🏁.
.
Until next race.. I just want to say thanks for my supporter that came out 🙏

Ragnar Zion 2026 – The Snacks

You cannot do a Ragnar without nutrition.
Well… calories.
Ok, fine. Sugar.

Ice cream cookie sandwiches, beer, milkshakes, acai bowls, beer, s’mores, and beer. Then a little more beer. It may not have been a textbook fueling strategy, but it got the job done.

What’s the point of all this cardio if you can’t indulge in some excess sugar!!

Ragnar Zion 2026 – The Team

There are a lot of things that make a Ragnar memorable, but the most important is the people on your team.
This was the first Ragnar for 15 of our 16 runners, and for both of our sherpas, so there were plenty of ways it could have gone sideways. Between the daytime heat, the cold nights, and a delirious, sleep-deprived captain with questionable brain function who probably had a concussion from repeatedly hitting his head on the canopy, the odds were there.
But the crew was incredible. Everyone brought positive, supportive energy and turned it into an event none of us will forget anytime soon.
Great weather is nice, but a great team is better every time.

Today’s race result is 🥈 overall in the Olympic distance! The theme continues to be able to close the gap in the water. My performance was very good. I shaved off 4 min off my swim and 1 min off my bike split! I am closing the gap in the water. I came out 2nd overall and held it rather than chase the entire day. Great day. Thank you @bbsctri for a smoothly ran course and a fun day!!

Cohesive bliss.

No reservations. No judgement. Just good vibes with family.

We wake up early, we train together, and we grow together. 💪

A team that trains together supports each other, pushes each other, and wins together. Success is built through discipline, consistency, and having the right people beside you every step of the way. #3ptriteam🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️ #motivateandinspire #ironmantraining #zone2yourjourney #trekbicyclelasvegas
