Flames Nation, Thank you. My journey at Liberty has given me the most joy anyone could ever ask for. Although I was put through many trails through injuries and other things, my reliance on Christ helped me every single day. Thank you to all of my coaches that have motivated to be my best daily and remind me to never stop being who I am. Thank you to my teammates that have inspired me to be the man I am today and I hope and pray that I have done the same for them. Thank you to my friends and family for always supporting me through all aspects of life. God has been doing amazing things at Liberty and I was able to watch the insane growth while being here. I’m happy I was able to be apart of so many bowl games and now our first conference championship! Through all of those great times the best moments were the ones I created with my brothers that I will have for life! I love you all! -The Eagle signing off

Liberty has received a commitment from Nebraska WR Victor Jones Jr!

A 6’1″, 195 pound receiver, Jones did not play during the 2022 season, his first at Nebraska, as he redshirted. He has four years of eligibility remaining.

Out of Orlando, Jones starred for Olympia High School. He had 53 catches for 847 yards and 7 touchdowns as a senior while also averaging 30.3 yards per return on kickoffs. He was a three-star recruit out of high school and ranked as a top 75 receiver by Rivals. In addition to Nebraska, he also had offers from Arkansas, Cincinnati, Kentucky, and others out of high school. He made 2 catches for 10 yards in the Nebraska spring game under new head coach Matt Rhule.
