Blown away. I honestly didn’t think Of Ink and Alchemy could be topped because that book is incredible, but here we are. I’m not going to have the right words for this one so you get my unhinged thoughts. Almost as unhinged as Casper.

Casper is an adrenaline junkie that had an unstable childhood. So when Anna stumbles into his life he must recognize something in her. The deep trauma she is trying to overcome? Maybe. Or maybe someone that needs to be seen as she is. I’m so thankful that he saw her, heard her, and decided to keep her. Casper put in the time and effort to earn her vulnerability and trust. It’s beautiful to witness. Because when you know her story your soul will hurt for her like mine did. For her pain and her past, but what a monumental rebirth.

Revenge is extra sweet in this one. Casper is hilarious. Seeing him be chosen was everything. Oh, and the chemistry between them? OFF THE CHARTS. Scorching hot goodness and lots of it.

Sloane is a master storyteller. What a way with words. And the humor in the darkness? Fucking epic. Favorite book by Sloane and a favorite 2026 read.

Okay this book sucked me in and I loved it so much! The dynamic between Casper & Anna is so fun and playful….that is after she starts to let him in. I love how protective and unhinged Casper is, especially when it comes to keeping Anna safe. I love a man who will do anything to protect his woman (especially when she doesn’t know it yet). And then Anna is the true definition of a survivor - she has been through so much in her past, but despite that all she has created a life for herself. And while it might have been pretty regimented, seeing her stray from her routine with Casper and his adventures was so sweet.

Audiobook: HOLY SMOKES this was absolutely fantastic in my ears! Do yourself a favor and just listen to this one! Don’t ask questions, just download that audio and enjoy the ride! Performed in duet by @chloeryanreads , @jamescassidyromance , and @graysonthemic - literally obsessed with all 3 of them! I legit couldn’t imagine a better casting for this book!

This damn book!! Omg, I had soo much fun reading this!! So many laugh out loud moments, Casper is my new fave book boyfriend!!

Casper and Anna were perfect for each other. The horrors that Anna went through, and our golden retriever Casper coming in and doing everything to protect and seek r3venge to those who harmed her. Also, the spice 😮‍💨😮‍💨 The things you can do with a frother and cucumber 🥒 👀🤭

I need the physical of this book!

I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend 🥰 I can’t believe October is almost over. I honestly don’t know where this month went 🫣✨

I still have a few reviews I really want to post before the month ends, but I’ve been struggling with the lack of light. The photos I took are so dark. I hoped for some better weather to reshoot them,but I don’t think it’s coming anytime soon. I worked hard to make my grid light and airy, so it’s a bit disappointing, but I guess I’ll have to embrace the moodier photos for a while 🍂✨🥰
