I remember my friend Sam Brown coming to me and saying; "He has it; but two things, get him a trainer and he's got to get his weight up.

So I started praying (it's the only way for us), asking for wisdom; people and resources.... and then Sam said, get Kris, you need Kris.... 6 months later, Sam was absolutely right. Kris Scott was the missing piece of our puzzle (we already had a great coach). Kris this is your calling, you are a gift to a generation. And you are absolutely right Slow 🐢 and Steady wins the race. Myles Warren, you are the "truth" and I can't wait to work this season with . Judah Michael, you were right, it's your turn now. Your consistency is building something. By the way Judah can play the 2-5... #arkansas #basketball #powerofprayer #HotSpringsAR

I don’t post many highlight clips.
I prefer full game film — because that’s where real development shows.

But these moments mattered.

• Shot recognition — Defense didn’t step up, she read it early and confidently knocked down the 3 (and yes, that should’ve been an and-1).
• Defensive discipline — Immediate box-out, finishing the possession.
• Pace, footwork & finish — The final move showed patience, balance, and control. She created space with her footwork, stayed composed, and finished the play by knocking down the shot — no rush, no panic.

This tells me she’s processing the coaching.
She’s hearing the corrections.
She’s applying the teaching.
She’s growing her basketball IQ, not just chasing points.

This is what long-term development looks like.
Fundamentals. Decision-making. Poise.

Proud mom moment — and excited to see where this journey takes her. 🖤🏀

2025 was a year of growth, resilience, and heart for @iamlmjco2033 Laila. She put in the work all year—even when things didn’t go as planned. Missing half of September and the entire month of October due to injury could’ve slowed her down, but instead it built her strength. She stayed focused, trusted recovery, and came back determined.

She’s only in 5th grade, yet her dedication, discipline, and love for the game continue to show. This year wasn’t just about baskets—it was about fundamentals, patience, mental toughness, and confidence. Watching her return stronger and continue to grow has been such a blessing.

A huge thank you to all of her coaches and trainers who have poured into her—thank you for your time, patience, belief, and commitment to her development on and off the court. Your guidance truly matters, and we are so grateful for everything you do. 🖤🏀

The journey is just getting started… Class of 2033 📚🏀
So proud of you, baby girl. Keep working, keep believing, and keep rising. 💙✨

Proud dad moment!!! 💥 This little 9yr old set a new personal best tonight: 18 points & 12 boards in a 30 minute game — against mostly older competition. 💪🏀 He showed a high motor on the glass, court awareness, and confidence taking shots. #YouthHoops #BasketballJourney #hardworkpayoff #hardworkbeatstalent
