Feeling overwhelmed with joy after @meetcutebookfest yesterday!! 🥹

From catching up with old friends to meeting so many incredible new to me romance authors, readers and bookish business owners, it was such a wonderful day.

Last year, I spent the entire day introducing myself to people and explaining what @thepictureofromance is all about.

This year, I spent the entire day chatting with people who already knew about us and our work, meeting creators who have been on our campaigns and catching up with authors that have worked with or supported me over the last year.

Seeing how much my little agency has grown in just 12 months made me want to absolutely bawl my eyes out because I really do have the best job in the world and I intend to spend many years to come championing romance.

@andiepimoni is actually superwoman and deserves ALL the recognition and flowers for the tireless work she does bringing this event together year after year. Thank you Andi, for creating an event that feels so inclusive, safe and joyous.

I also got to chat with my faves @bookminxsjv (who took this lovely photo of me and my Dad) and @beckysloracheditor but I didn’t get a picture with them.

I honestly spent the whole day having the best conversations, I can’t tell y’all how special Meet Cute is. I can’t wait for 2027!!

Now, onto @lovestoriesetc in two weeks… 🫶🏼

1️⃣ Book Teasers: Share spicy lines, cliffhangers, or aesthetic snippets to hook readers.

2️⃣ Book Magnets – Offer a free bonus (short story, epilogue, character POV) to grow your newsletter.

3️⃣ Use CTAs. Always include a Call to Action: “Preorder now,” “Comment your fave trope,” or “Link in bio.”

💡 These aren’t just tips. They’re trust-builders.
