A day of self reflection today, & immense gratitude.

I’m so grateful to have a spot where I can work with collaborators, & make records. I’m really excited for what’s to come!

@slowburnrecodingstudio in North Hollywood is damn near ready to go!

We’ve got an old 50’s Hammond Organ, a 70’s Fender Rhodes, late 40’s Wurlitzer 120, Hensel Upright Piano, Sequential Prophet 08, tons of analog synths, drum machines, and a fully mic’d MIJ drum kit with assorted vintage mics on it, a Casiotone 403. A bunch of different instruments I’ve collected as a session musician and producer. Also a few dif snare drum options into a Soundcraft 500 &/or Tascam 388 1/4” reel to reel tape machine!!

Got a Hammond M3 tonight! Benny really took one for the team, because my claustrophobia was flaring heavy! He’s safe. And she’s safe. So all is well, thanks fellas! LFG! 🎹!!

My amp is loving these new tubes & a cap job, and so am I!

No modeling here or amp plugins. @palmer_germany Junction off the amp speaker out, & just a touch of @valhalladsp vintage verb and some @uaudio LA2A

Got this old Soundcraft console all wired upz. Dang, it sounds thick ASF. This is the low tuned snare. The console has more of a natural compression too, and it sounds so glued

@draliensmith sub kick
@warmaudio Wa-19 on snare
Old RCA 47jr mono Overhead
@electrovoiceofficial Ev635A/B on stereo OH
Old Sansui spring Reverb, And many more mics..
