To my @themeathook fam, thank you for the last 16 months. Thank you for taking me in, accepting me as I am, and helping me grow further into a better human being. I began with the idea I’d only be there for a few days a week as an intern, hopefully get the chance to touch some meat. By day two, I was working as a full-time butcher. Little did I know I’d be surrounded by a group of smart, witty, strong and dedicated individuals. And never did I imagine the impact this job would have on my views on the world of sustainability and responsible human-consciousness. Thank you to each and every one of you for not apologizing for who you are and what you stand for. You all are beacons of light and I’m so grateful and proud to be a part of such an empowering community. @benjaminstephen and @brentonyoung, I couldn’t have asked for better people to call my bosses. Your synergy makes the shop the gem that it is. I look forward to seeing the Meat Hook grow and blossom into the company it deserves to be. 🐄💕🐖💕🐑
