For so many years I have wandered round Leicester Square, gazing up at all the epic cinemas and dreaming of the day when one of my films would be shown there. Well, earlier this month - thanks to @nftsfilmtv and @primevideouk - that dream became a reality. These photos are from the private cast, crew, family & industry screenings of the latest Directors Workshop short films.

Early audience reactions to Lacuna were incredible - my goodness it felt so amazing to share the film with them and to hear their responses! But even better to be able to share the stage with many of the film's wonderful cast and crew, celebrating their work as well as my own, and also with the other directors on my cohort who I dearly love.

Photos 2-5 are by @filmshipster (thank you so much for coming along and supporting me!)

Photos 6-11 were supplied by NFTS

Photos 12 & 13 were supplied by @shehrozecreates (plus I added the extra photo from our final group Zoom session, as we were missing Abo in the last photos of the night).

And right at the end of the carousel are a couple of photos from my hotel, where I was getting ready for the evening - to show that, even when my dreams come true, I'll never be too 'Hollywood' to not enjoy The Last of the Summer Wine!!

I graduated! 🎓

The past 18 months at @nftsfilmtv have been an incredible experience, to say the least. I’ve contributed to dozens of short films, travelled to the other side of the world and back and made amazing friends along the way. 🌟

Thank you @judijlee and Fraser Barber @africanut for all your support and a massive thank you to all the friends and collaborators who made this a very special journey. I look forward to working with you all again down the line. 🎉

So much love to everyone I’ve met this year @nftsfilmtv this has honestly been the most fun I’ve while learning new formats such as 16mm+ 35mm while making such amazing friends 🥳🥰

It has been a massive learning curve and this time last year I would’ve cackled in your face if you told me where I’d be today! From living at home freelancing for two years to getting onto the Assistant Camera course then a year later graduating, landing my dream job at @emmyland and moving out all in one week- it’s been mental to put it lightly 😇

Live laugh loving and so grateful for all the opportunities and so so SO impressed at everyone’s hard work this year it’s been amazing and wishing everyone the world, here’s to slaying just as hard in 2025 💖✨

Wrapped on “Runt” last week!

Quite a challenge with the whole film being handheld camera but it was a fun one. Had a great time doing a mix between fiction and documentary, and it’s always a pleasure to assist @avadoylesound thanks for having me!
