Had the best couple of days in San Diego with Maestro Evan Roider and the San Diego Symphony at the Rady Shell. Always a highlight of the year. Great to see all our friends at @sandiegosymphony and to usher in America’s birthday with music. The morning’s rehearsal was packed and I scored a new hat! So fun.

Thank you all so much for coming out to the opening night of Jazz at the Jacobs. What an unforgettable evening! We played to a sold-out house tonight, and I am truly humbled. To the entire San Diego jazz community. Thank you for showing up with such love, energy, and support. You’re the reason nights like this are possible, and you made this one a tremendous success.

I also want to take a moment to honor the incredible musicians who shared the stage with me tonight. Your talent, your commitment, and your heart are what make this music come alive. It was a privilege to create with you. Young Lions Jazz conservatory students, you crushed it!

A very special thank-you to Martha Gilmer, Lea Slusher, and everyone at the San Diego Symphony for believing in this series and for helping bring this vision to life.

And Mariana, I love you my beautiful!

As the @chq1874 season closes, our artistic leadership keeps going! @stuartchafetz conducted an amazing premiere with @sandiegosymphony of his 90s show! It features CSO percussionist Brian Kushmaul and Chautauquans Craig and Cathy Greene joined for the celebration! Amazing singers and talent all around. Thank you Lea!
