Good Morning ✨

Here at Cedar Farm, you’ll find some of the most talented independent makers and artists, each bringing something truly special to our little corner of Lancashire. We love celebrating the people behind the businesses and sharing the stories, passion and craftsmanship that make Cedar Farm so unique.

This week, we’re shining a light on the talented husband and wife team behind @slyglass 🤍

Stephen and Léona Lindars work together to design and create contemporary studio glass that is both beautiful and functional. Every piece is conceived, crafted and finished entirely by hand, making each one unique and ensuring an exceptional level of quality.

Their stunning collection includes elegant blown glass bottles, bowls, vases, pendant light fittings, alongside bespoke pieces. Whether you’re looking for a striking centrepiece or a one-of-a-kind commission, their work is full of creativity, skill and timeless design.

If you’re visiting Cedar Farm, we’d highly recommend taking the time to pop into the Slyglass studio. Whether you’re searching for a unique gift, something beautiful for your home, or simply enjoy discovering talented local artists, it’s well worth a visit.

Love,
Cedar Farm x

Home to so much talent 🏠

One of the things that makes Cedar Farm so special isn’t just the beautiful setting – it’s the incredible people you’ll find here.

Walk around the farm and you’ll discover artists, makers, photographers, bakers, florists, jewellers, baristas, chefs and so many other talented independent businesses, all pouring their creativity, passion and years of experience into what they do.

Every painting, handcrafted piece of jewellery, ice cream, bouquet, carefully curated gift and delicious meal has a person behind it who genuinely loves creating it.

When you choose to shop, eat or spend time at Cedar Farm, you’re not just supporting a local business. You’re supporting someone’s craft, their dream and the passion they’ve built into every single day.

We feel incredibly lucky to be home to so much talent, and we hope you enjoy discovering it as much as we do.

Love,
Cedar Farm x

Big thanks to Steve and Leona Lindars of @slyglass.

I first visited the wonderful @lovecedarfarm when I moved to Manchester in 2014. It’s a great place for a weekend day out - check it out if you’re in the vicinity.

Every time I went back I had to spend a bit of time just gazing at these lights in Steve and Leona’s workshop. I couldn’t get over how lovely they were. It took me until 2025 to have a place worth hanging such beauties. Now I have them, I still stop to gaze at them. Love them.

@slyglass thank you SO much for the upgraded shades for my mother’s touch lamps, especially as I knew you were a little hesitant about whether they’d work. They’re stunning. Both she and I are delighted - I’ll be back in 2025 to ask you to do more! Thank you again!
