Everything is circumstantial!
In this one we are banking on opponents reaction being that they lift their lead leg as we advance, pretty common but not guaranteed!

Earlier in the session we did the same slide in set up with a different execution based on their reaction being completely different.

Multiple solutions for similar problems. This is the key 🔑

Coach @ivyreber_ got herself a truckload of experience and a heap of great feedback when she took the Teens Muay Thai at @smacgym on Friday as part of our week long training trip to Victoria.

The teens were locked in and fully engaged for the whole class, with HEAPS of questions afterwards.

Such an amazing opportunity to be asked to teach in another club, in another state, and at just sixteen.

Well done Ivy!! More updates to come on our trip. We have squeezed A LOT in!!!

🥋 BJMA Instructor Course – Congratulations! 🥋
This past weekend, we conducted a BJMA Instructor Course at SMAC, held in conjunction with the BJMA Muay Thai Training Weekend.
We had five participants from different clubs across the state come together for two days of learning, practical training and development.
Throughout the course, they were taught a range of coaching skills designed to help them develop as instructors and improve student retention within their clubs. They took part in role-play classes, practised teaching small groups, and put their new coaching skills into action.
It was great to see everyone step outside their comfort zones, learn from each other and embrace the challenges of becoming better instructors.
👏 Congratulations to the following students who successfully completed and passed the BJMA Instructor Course:
• Darren A
• Jessica Underwood
• Lachlan Parkin
• Hamish Scott
• Sheri Burtonclay
Well done to you all! We look forward to seeing you put your new skills into practice and continue developing the next generation of BJMA students. 🥊🔥
Congratulations and well done! 👏🥋
