One of our favorite ways to show up for community is…well…showing up! The Black Queer Book Fair and Day Party hosted by @themahoganyprojectinc at @kindredstorieshtx was nothing short of a good GOOD! @ladybgproductions had me singing too much (not a thing) while slanging merch 😄 you can check out The Mahogany Project’s IG to find out about the next event and volunteer opportunities. See yall soon!!

Yall would never know the ashes I’ve continuously risen from and dusted off on this journey (mostly because I don’t be telling people my business 🙃) and I just feel so incredibly fortunate to be one of the recipients during a time when everything feels so heavy.

I’m equally as honored to be recognized next a friend and partner-in-good trouble @smareee the work @lnkdcommunity does is important and impactful!

@stardustcohtx began because I wanted to create safe spaces for Black trans men, queer women (trans & cis), and nonbinary babes. What it has become is a physical manifestation of my love for my community. I do this because it’s necessary and because the love I get back surpasses any dollar amount I can’t think of.

The Rising Phoenix Award is a privilege and honor to receive from @themahoganyprojectinc Thank you SO much again for seeing me and reminding me of my worth. Bloom, I shall 🌼

NICE TO MEET Y’ALL 👋🤗

LNKD was founded in 2024 with one simple goal: to support and lift up our community. Instead of starting from scratch, we wanted to amplify the amazing work already happening around us. We’re here to connect people with the resources they need and make sure those efforts continue to thrive. It’s all about shining a light on what’s already great! ☀️

Stay tuned for our upcoming events and be sure to check out our website at www.lnkdcommunity.org (link in bio)!
