Contemporary Shadows - a visual journey through eight modern fears.
Eight shades that mirror today’s collective anxieties — perfection, judgement, the passing of time, ambition, anxiety.
These are some shots from my first project.
I used pieces from my personal archive, like my mother’s wedding dress, and created some of the garments featured in the photos. One of the key pieces is a completely black outfit, made of a corset and a skirt. The skirt was created by stitching together 42 individual skirts to achieve a theatrical effect.

I stitched my fears to give them shape.
